oh! I adore Hiten! He's really sweet, but just a bit, um, insane. I don't think he's ugly. He's adorable! Too bad he died though. It's really great that he loved his brother so much. Inu-Yasha and Sesshomaru should learn from him a bit.

Well it seems that Hiten loves Monten because of his personality so to speak, and not because just they're brothers. So, I think that his father loved his mother because of the person(or whatever) she was. So, maybe Hiten learned to look beyond the appearance of someone and to their heart. And just playing around with the other women for fun.

 

well i never saw it in that way and i believe that you are correct i thouht since hiten love to eat pretty girls he would marry a ugly girl to not worry about eating the pretty one. but i guess i was wrong.
