Books Who is your favorite author?

    Eh. I totally dig Anne Rice works. But I have way too long a list of favorite authors. Some would be Barbara Dawson Smith, Catherine Anderson and Jude Deveraux.

    J.R.R.Tolkien, author of The Hobbit, LOTR, The Simarillion, Chronicles of Middle Earth, etc. and Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy; I've never encountered an author quite like him.

    I don't have a favorite author. But if I had to choose I would choose..........I guess Jerry Spinelli.

    I'm not sure of my favorite, but I'm really fond of Francesca Lia Block, author of the Weetzie Bat books and others. She has a unique way of writing and her stories are full of wonderful things... but also quite peculiar in nature.

    I read nearly all the time, so it's hard to narrow it down.
    To name a few; Hilary McKay, Karen McCombie, William Nicholson, Lemony Snicket and Enid Blyton.
