Square Enix Who is your favorite Final Fantasy character?

My favorite FF character is Sephiroth of course. He may be an OG but he was the best villain in the entire series...

Vivi from FF9 is the man, and at the end where he as all these kids!<---------spoiler sorry!

And also Vincent Valentine from FF7, he's awesome, man he always hit 9999 with death penalty, but you have to make him kill 9999 enemies which is a pain! lol but he still rocks.

Mog from FF3 rules too because he's its the only FF where a Moogle is a playable character, woot Mog doing Ultima rules!

Man i forgot about Vincent! He is second best to Sephiroth

 

My fav is Lulu for final fantasy 10

Zell from FF8 was so cool when you first meet him... he is probably my second best.

OMG? Has NO one here played FF1-6? Kain is by far my favorite. He's one of the few main characters to actually betray you, but not of his own free will, then rejoin you and regain your trust. Plus the dragoons just rule.

 

I've played all of the final fantasy games to date but there wasn't a whole lot of character development in the old ones. Kain was pretty cool but sephiroth was better come on...

well, in "take back" mode form previos post, i freakin' love kimahri, on FF10, don't know he's just really cool.

darn right he's the best, he's still on my top list, over kimahri.

 

I must be the only person on the planet that didn't think Sephiroth was cool. The coolest thing he did was kill Aerith.

Definitely, without a doubt, Meliadoul Tingel from Final Fantasy Tactics. Hell, all the characters in FFT were great. Namely her, Kletian, Vormav, Izlude, and Wiegraf (best villain ever, man, I mean he's a villain that we THINK has a good reason to want to kill the main character but after a while he just doesn't give a **** about it any more and has just become sadistic because of Lucavi). Though VI had a lot of great characters as well like Sabin and Edgar.

And frankly, I hated Kain. I mean, Christ, the whole betray you, rejoin you, betray you, rejoin you thing was never ending and it was, frankly, just a pain in the *** especially since he wasn't even that great of a character.

Sephiroth was cool, but there's so many characters that are better than him; he's become stale and over-rated.

 

I llike aeris, cloud, sephiroth, blank, yuna, all moogles, celes, tera, and garnet.
aeris is myn total favorite but the other ones tie for second.

 

I like Reno

Reno is pretty cool. He's strong. Reno! Reno! Reno!

 

Out of all the final fantasy games, Sephiroth would have to be my favorite.(Tifa <~~Second)

 

In all the games except Tactics, the characters are seen by their strength - their backstories are rarely looked at. It even happens often in Tactics. But I'd have to put my coin on Wiegraf, who is probably one of the unluckiest villains in Tactics, not in the terms of strength, but being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He could have been an ally of Ramza's given the situation.
