    well, I would pick Jiraiya as a teacher, but since this is about shinobi teachers with 3 genin/chunin under them, I pick Gai. I think he's the greatest. and I believe he really trained and took care of all 3 of his genin, but exceeded any trainer expectations with Rock Lee. I think Kakashi needs improvement when it comes to people and training. of course he started ok, but I really didn't like how he picked Sasuke over Naruto, but hey I'm partial to Naruto. So I love Jiraiya. ;)

    Gai sensei! He has so many great aspects that makes it quite impossible to dislike him. His optimisim, his rivarly with Kakashi, being a man of his word (remember the story of him walking on his hands for 50 laps) and the promise he made to Lee-kun (still not mentioned in the anime)

    Well, I'd also have to say that Asuma really looked so cool in episode 70! and at the beginning of the show he was perceived as a clueless unhelpful guy.. the senseis in Leaf really rock!

    I picked Gai, he and Rock Lee are hillarious. Although the other sensei who rocks is Jiraiya the perverted hermit :p

    My favourite part with Gai in the manga was when he gave Naruto the same type of tight fighting outfit that Rock Lee uses and Naruto was like "COOL!!!" and Jiraiya said "you aren't really going to wear that, are you??"

    Also, I wonder if Tsunade is going to take Sakura as her apprentice..

    i think that kakashi is the best sensei. he looks good, he's "kinda" funny (to me at least) . . . he really reminds me of the guy i like . . . <drool> . . .

    Jiraya is a sennin. He'd be the odd one out since he's not an offical academy teacher.

    I think Suzu means present trainers. Not trainers from the past or Sarutobi would be in there as well.

    sry well in that case i would have to pick Kakashi cause he always looks like hes about to fall asleep and the whole eternal rivalry with Gai and also how hes so layed back and gai trys so hard

    I completely agree with Seraphim. Gai took really good care for his crew, and yes he surpassed them all with his care for Rock Lee. Kakashi is my second choice because he is doing a good job but needs to work more with them all. That is what I think anyways.

    I'd rather see Tsunade take on Hinata as an apprentice. Hinata is my favorite female from Naruto and I think she has the most potential to be a great ninja out of all the female characters.

    Back on the topic my favorite sensei is Kakashi. I just love his whole persinality and overall additude.

    Hey. Why didn't anyone pick Iruka-sensei?

    He's the first one who acknowledged Naruto for who he is, as Uzumaki Naruto rather than the "Demon Fox" (reading that part in the manga was actually what turned me into a fan of this series). He may not be the best in skills or anythin, but he is a very likeable character. ^___^

    It's too bad he isn't shown much afterwards... :bleed2:

    my favorite sensei is Kakashi. He`s abit mysterious and his personality is so great. He´s olways so hmm.. cool.. and calm.

    I'd have to say Asuma, so cool ^^ he has always that laid back look, always smoking etc. ^^ and his ..chakra blades (...?) are really awsome

    My friend: Jiraiya didn't teach Yondaime Rasenghan, it was vice versa...
    That's the cool part of it all, the 4th practised 3 years to complete the Jutsu, THEN he thought Jiraiya...
    Conclusion: the 4th is the best :p
