ugh I have a lot of favorites but my top three will have to be (not in order)
The Misfits, Good Charlotte, and Green Day.

 

I am also with you. I find that there are some songs that you can relate to.

 

You all suck, except for that Rush guy. He's cool, 'cause Rush is good.


As a matter of fact, I'm quite embarassed to be posting here at all. But jesus phucking christ, Avril Lavigne is an affront to all things good in music.

 

Right now is a local band called Four Letter Word.

My favorite major-label band is most likely... Big D and the Kids Table.

Dead Kennedys...Jello Biafra's way of clever/catchy political song writing is awesome.

 

I think Avril Lavigne is one of the most "real" singers.
She sings about her feelings, writes her own music and lyrics, and whenever she performs, she doesn't rip off her clothes like some celebrities do.

 

I like Avril Lavigne. I have a few, but I don't have a favorite.

Saliva, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Alien Ant Farm, My Chemical Romance, and many others. (Mostly rock)

 

The only things I can agree with here is that ska is good....and the Dead Kennedys are...alright.

The rest of you...just yikes. Yikes.

I have a lot of 60'-80's classic rock bands, but as far as recent bands goes mine would be Apartment 26, The Killers, And Velvet Revolver.

Lately, I've also been listening to Bad Brains(practically the only all african-american punk band) alot...

 

i like blink 182, maroon 5, and linkin park. those are my favorites. my favorite singer is enrique iglesias (when singing in spanish). i am very diverse, so i like almost any kind of music...

 

For american, or better yet, non-japanese music, I'd have to say Savage Garden, followed up by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

After having found my CD case, though, it amazes me what I used to be into.

Madonna, Steppenwolf, Rob Zombie, Aqua, and *shudder* WHY is there a Backstreet Boys CD in there?! :eew:

How could I have had such bad taste?

For all music, however, Hayashibara Megumi tops my charts.

 

I think that my favorite band is U2, very closly followed by Metallica.

It's hard to find a good band these days, i found myself more and more listening to the old stuff cause i just think that the quality of the music is a lot better.

 

~sighs~ I have so many....I cant really chose a favorite because I like alot of bands depending on my mood.

Sorry, but....EGAD!! I can't stand Avril Lavigne! She is just every bit as over-packaged as Britney Spears, and she's almost more in your face about it =( But that's all just a matter of opinion I suppose.

At them moment I'm a fan of Belle and Sebastian, but the music I like seems to change fairly regularly. Although, I've never really been into music in a big way actually.
