I must say this is indeed a wonderful movie.

 

Well, for a fan film, it was decent. But I dunno, I just couldn't find it that interesting. It was worth the one watch, at least.

 

Hooooooo boy. Just watched it.

THE GOOD
-As far as fan films go, great special effects. The Freddy costume as well was near perfect.
-The Bong Kill was classic Freddy.
-The Tongue Phone was a great "tongue-in-cheek" reference to the first film and well played.
-Halfway through the film you see that the movie staff gives up trying to keep it serious and just has fun with it, which is what a fan film should be about.
-The surprise after the credits was fun.

THE BAD
-Way, way too much pop culture reference near the end. I really could have gone without the Matrix reference, and the whole Jared thing fell flat. It eventually just got a little too "HEY GUYZ LOOK AT HOW FUNNY WE CAN BE"
-Some of that acting was awful. The rest was simply average.
-Whoever played Freddy didn't really get the body language down right.

THE UGLY
-Freddy (and the surprise at the end especially) isn't really a ghost per se; however Im willing to suspend disbelief for the film.
-Oh God, the continuity errors with both timelines.


Overall, it's not bad and worth a viewing. I'd give it 6.5, maybe 7 out of 10, and to be truthful the big reason it scored so low was all the pop references and a few continuity flubs. It got a little sloppy at the end.
