Gundam Who's faster TallGeese or DeathScyth

The Techs being the only staples for speed is crap the animater has had gundam pass gundam episode after episode to make for better dramatic battles. I think it depends on the pilot and the whole image of a gundam.

So completely ignoring tech read outs I choose the TallGeese is the fastest since what Zechs wants is speed and he nearly kills him self pushing his gundam (for general classification I call TallGeese a gundam) to the limits. For god sakes he even calls him self the WIND But my friend insists that DeathScyth should be the fastest who do you think is the fastest out of these two and out of all the gundams.

 

i would have to agree with you tallgeese is faster than deathscythe. i mean zechs does practically have a heart attac(how the hell do you spell that?) riding in it but deathscythe is still my favorite! *hugs deathscythe* the pilots my favorite too.*hugs duo even harder*^.^

 

Give me some clips where they pass stationary objects with an officially stated size.

Oh, also, are the tech manuals canon or not?

Just remember that when they move in the anime they may or may not be at full speed. If you're going to say one's better than the other, then you're going to need the tech info.



And BTW, Deathscythe is slightly more advanced than the Tallgeese.

 

The techs ARE crap.The're there only becuase some people felt like saying one Gundam was faster than the other and calling it Offical. Who cares about them. I think Tallgeese is the fastest. ^_^ Oh yhea.:glazed:

They did, And that doesn't matter! becuase they basicly "make it up" and say it's true just like we are. even though they produced it our opinions as fans of the series entitle us to these opinions with out other people saying there "Techs" are law. If they make the Tallgeese seem so fast but somehow three or four others are faster forget them

zechs has a heart attack because he's a wimp. jsut look at it this way. he keept upgrading tallgeese so he could fight the gundams and not lose. so if you think about it, it all depends on witch version of the tallgeese and deathsyth your comparing.

 

"Custom" all the customs kick the crap out of the other Gundams.

 

In terms of a duel TallGeese would win, but DeathSythe is cooler.

 

well if you look Deathsythe has a speed rating of 170 tallgeeses is i think 165 *(?)* anyway ive always considered Deathsythe faster. also remember Tallgeese isnt a gundam...

 

Well Speed can be divided into two areas, both of which both Deathschythe and Tallgeese fall into.

In raw speed, that is getting from point A to point B in so many seconds.

And then speed in terms of agility and freedom of movement.

Tallgeese is easily number 1 in point A to Point B, thanks to its rather insane thruster output.

But Deathschythe is the most agile and quickets in movement that is dodging and eavading.

So basically techs do win out in Speed, because I think they were refering to Speed in the second sense.

What? the scyth and gun weight difference that doesn't even matter, well it might. But I still say TallGeese has the faster becuase he is so awsome. And what about there engines or boost systems it's not like the wepon would matter if they were flying through a weightless space. I mean come on.

Well, I don't think Zechs is a whimp as Tyso the so great stated. So if it was up to the man I'd say Zechs would give his "gundam" the best speed performance.

 

Hmmmm... Quite an interesting concept.

I would have to say that SGI is correct.

Basically:

Tallgeese would win in a all out straight race

Deathscythe would win in an obsticle course type race.

And yes, I don't quite like the techs either. Taking an anime that far is just wierd. You should leave it with "In the end, one person wins." But thats just my thoughts

 

So your saying that Deathscyth is more "agile" and TallGeese is faster as far as speed, well sounds like what I was thinking all along

 

Then again there is also the plausability that since WIng basically steals everything from 0079 to Chars Counterattack that Deathschythe may have the magnetic coating that the RX-78 and Action Zaku had to allow for more freedom of movement in the joints due to reduced friction.
