So it shouldn't be so hard right? It's right what the thread says.

Anime isn't just composed by story and drawing style, but the voice actors take one of the biggest roles in making the anime work. If the voice acting sucks, it makes the anime look bland.

So I'm sure that one time or another, we've heard a voice actor and just said "WOW, this person makes the anime work great!"

So who was/is it? It can be from either a Japanese, or English DUB anime.

If you can, post some other Anime where this person has worked in (or any other jobs for that matter..)

I think his name is Justin Crow, but I'm not sure. I really like the person who did Kenshin.

...You know, I'm just going to do this the simple way, and say that every character in a series made by Key had an absolutely amazing voice actor. Whether that's Tomoko Kawakami as Misuzu, Yukari Tamura as Mai, or Daisuke Ono as Yukito, the series was gold for voice actors. :p

Apart from them though, I've always liked Midorikawa Hikaru.

    WHAT English dub? :p

A good, no, not good, perfect English Dubbing is none other than Kodocha (Kodomo no Omocha). Laura Bailey played the best role ever. She also nailed others like Tohru Honda and the main girl from Gunslinger Girl.

Also, another guy that does excellent is Jerry Jewel. He played Kodocha's Akito Hayama, Fruits' Basket Kyou Sohma, Detective Conan's Jimmy (Jinichi), and the guy with red hair that used wind to his advantage, among others...

I was joking. :p But you have to agree that the largest majority of English dubs are crappy. Outlaw Star was the only exception that I've seen, and I usually don't even bother checking English dubs anymore. I'd rather watch in Japanese if I can.

Indeed they are. Thankully, I don't stain my glorific Anime Wall with them. AzuManga Daioh is the only one, but Kimura and some of the others keep it stable.

Kimura:Because I like high school girls, that's why!!!

    That part sounds funny. However:

    Kimura:NEKO CAFE!!! KAWAII!!!!*While doing a horrific/perverted in a way dance*

Like I said, some actors save the show.

Mark Hamill did anime voice acting? Which one? The only time I've heard him is in Robot Chicken.

I don't know any voice actors names, but I like... damn brain freeze, kenshins master. I think the voice fits the character really well. And for american dubs, I think Miyazaki has some pretty good dubs.

Seishin...Laura Bailey sucked as Tohru. >> There. I said it. She wasn't right for the job, her voice just wasn't right for Tohru...

    Anyways....

I'm extremely sensitive to voice acting. No, really. if there's even one hint of over dramatic-ness, or 'just reading line soff script syndrome' I get pretty pissed. i try to gvie them slack...but if you're supposed to be a 'professional' do your job LIKE a professional. A REAL professional.

Signle handedly, the only English vocie actor I find to simply be AMAZING (I like other ones, but this gal is just phenonanal) is Lisa Ortiz. Most people know her as Lina Inverse from Slayers or Serenity Wheeler (Shizuka Kawai) from yuugiou...or even soem may know her from being Fuu int eh RayEarth OAV. She's in a lot of 4Kids stuff.
But what i remember her for...is her role as Shiori Takatsuki from Utena.
That was...AMAZING. SimpLy AMAZING. That had to be the best voice actign I've ever seen. I liked Lisa doing Shiori more than Shiori's Japanese seiyuu. It was THAT good.
I mean sure, at first she's jsut the regular nice girl...but when she's the TRUE Shiori, the sadistic Shiori, it's like 'holy crap'. The elevator/confessional scene in the first episode Shiori appeared in was just..."Whoa. O.O"
And then in the movie, where Shiori didn't keep up the nice girl act, and was a freakin' sadist the whole time...it was GREAT.

And before anyone says agntyhing, i no longer like Eric Stuart. He's gotten far too angry with Kaiba and when you watch the Japanese original of YGO, you realize how crappy he is. XD

So my next fav, voice actor: Kenjirou Tsuda. He's new, up and coming, and hsi role was Kaiba in Yuugiou (the Duel Monsters version). He was AWESOME. until half way throught he series when his voice seems to egt raspier and raspier. Oo Up until that point I lvoed him. XD And I still do i guess. Currently he's in Prince of Tennis.

Tomokazu Seki is my fav. voice actor ever. He has an amazing range, which can keep while singing too which can be very rough. He's Chichiri in Fushigi Yuugi, van in Escaflowne, Kamui in X/1999, Shuichi in Gravitation, Touya in Card Captor Sakura, Touji in Evangelion, Ken in Weiss Kruez, and many, MANY more.

I also like Hikaru Midorikawa (Kaiba in the first series of YGO, Tamahome in FY and etc...) Nobutoshi Kanna (Tasuki in FY, Knuckle sin Sonic X...), Takehito Koyaus (Hotohori in FY, Kira in Angel Sanctuary, etc...) and recently I'm really likign Kappei yamaguchi (Inu yasha and Usopp in One Piece) For females I like Aya Hisakawa (Sailro Mercury, Miki in Utena,Kero-chan in CCS), and Kotono Mitsuishi (Sailor Moon, Juri in Utena and Misato in Evangelion). I also like Romi Paku (Edward in FMA and Ren in Shaman King) as of late.
