Why do we procrastionate?

Why do humans procrastionate? Why do we put off things that we know we have to do? Is it because there are other things we want to put off, like death? Perhaps our wish to respond to pleasure before work is all in an effort to get the most out of the world before our time is done with it. But then again, we should probably have never have become civilized. Civilization means work. If we truly anted to get the most pleasure out of life, then we probably should’ve remained the noble savage doing fun stuff like…throwing rocks at birds…Maybe we became civilized so we could have more fun things to go. Maybe that blasted wheel was supposed to be something fun all along…

Yeah I’m just trying to get out of doing my summer school, go figure.
