Kagome's bathwater is ALWAYS green, is this like... traditional japanese something? I don't remember anything like that being traditional... or do they just bathe in green tea... Either way, I likey when she's in the bath, ehehehehe... :sweat2:

I think it's green because hey have a special water or something that they use. It's not green tea ~_~ but it's some sort of chemical they use. I think, I'm not too sure. It's just an anime thing you accept cause it comes from the Japanese culture (like how they shower before taking a bath or take a bath before they shower, I forget the order).

maybe she put herbs in it. You never know. I have oatmeal and that turns my bath water tan

Onsens, or "hot springs" are widely hailed as being healthful and useful for a number of common ailments because of the minerals contained in the volcanic waters which bubble underground. This pleasurable experience is not always available at home, so powders are used which duplicate the minerals found in a natural onsen water. A hot bath using onsen powders full of mineral salts is how Japanese people look forward to unwinding at the end of the day.

And it makes the water green. Nothing new, there. Almost every anime tub scene features similarly colored water. ;)

but when i went to japan and took a bath, the water was accually green! i mean, the water itself was normal but since the bath was in a metal tub, there's probaly something in the metal that makes the water look green. and the water isnt that green as in inu yasha but its kind of like the green bay water except nicer.:D

It should be green since that's how they portray it in the anime's ^^;; But I wish I could take a bath like that. I bet it's nice.

I'm just guessing, but I'd say they shower before they bathe. Bathing doesn't really get you clean because you're washing yourself in the same water that has all the dirt and grime that came off your body. So you shower first to actually get the stuff off your body and then you can actually enjoy a bath.

In all confidence, I can say "they" wore underwear. But that's always an option, of course. :bleed:

The shogunate of that era would have final say, of course - having absolute power over the people.

I don't suppose she was asking what color as well, lol? :p

I think they did. If you see Princess Mononoke (okay, it's not a historical thing but still) then you see them wear these white diaper like things. I saw them in Japanese history books also so I think that was their underwear.
