Gundam Why YTV took Gundam off the Air.

    I want to know. I'm going to complain and it would help if somebody was backing me. I want it back on because it was one of a few good shows on a crapppy channel. Help me, please

    Gundam was on YTV?!?...oh yeah, it was ;(

    I watched all of Gundam Wing through Toonami on Cartoon Network. I believe that Toonami is running on Kids WB, although I'm not sure if it has Gundam on WB.

    Yeah I heard, well I asked them, they said that they had a contract with them and the contract only allowed about 2 1/2 years of service and then the sereis was gone! sorry for all the bad news, this happened to all the anime on YTV the contract left and they kicked it.

    Thanks, but couldn't they renew their contract? My parents don't want to get more than basic cable because my bro wouldn't concentrate in school. I don't get Fox or toonami. It sucks. I'm going to tell them to get more animes, maybe the old series of Gundam, the first one with Amuro Ray.

    Well [​IMG] that would be a good idead, but the only difficulty is that kids may think that Mobile Suit Gundam is after Gundam Wing. MASS CONFUSION :confused :confused [​IMG]

    So? We get them to explain! Damn stupid kids, you'd think they'd be able to tell by the animation AND the storyline. It's not all that sophesticamecated (^-^)

    NOOOOOOOOO!, I started taping Mobile Suit Gundam (the first ep atleast). But, I was bogged down with Corn Detassling until like 6 everyday. The stupid thing though is that my crew leader gipped me off an hour and I should have been able to come home by 5 to tape it!!!

    I was going to start it up again, but it seems to be still going [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]
    I think it is 40 episodes long.
    Musashi, I can probably get a tape of it to you if you want, and you can show it to Meaikoh_Takashi (you seem to know each other)...

    You know, they may not have the episodes on YTV any more, but tonight has got to be about the eighth time they've shown Endless Waltz in the past year. You'd think the absent-minded youth would get bored and watch something else ... DON'T GET ME WRONG HERE, I mean, I did watch it, again. Hell, I even have it taped, and I've watched that several times as well.

    Well feel lucky u got to see the whole thing. They take Tenchi and Gundam wing of Cartoon network during summer and i'm in school when they put it back on. So it was just luck i taped all the tenchi ovas (mainly because there was so few)

    Come now, this little one (although I'm 6'3" and 220lbs)'s not worth the effort. Now let me get you something ...
    Look, I'm a freaky hippy type at times, and I'm not telling you to be one too, but what is the point of violence when it only leads to more violence? The path of the warrior always leads to his death. You may be all bad-ass now, but eventually, you'll slip up and someone better'll show up and take your head, stab you in the back, or do a whole sh-t load of other nasty things to you. Look what happened to Julius Caesar. A great warrior and leader, assassinated by his best friends. Rather than choose a painful death, choose a life of peace. There is no honour in death anymore.
    I guess it just comes back to what John Lennon once said:
    "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one."
    It was actually that very song that turned me from the crazed mental/emotional assassin I once was to my current ways.
    The only honourable violence is that used to prevent further violence (protection, baby, yeah!).
    Anyway, enough excerpts from Zanshi philosophy for today. Let's just continue on, friends.
