Hey people, I know this is a retarded post and everything. But if you live in California and watch the news...you've no doubt heard about the wildfire's going on near Pomona, Glendora, and near the Azusa canyon...well, guess what? We're about to evacuated! "Great" ne?

In any case, as of an hour before this post, the fire could be seen over the crest of the mountain/hill of this neighborhood. The police say that it's possible that we might have to be evacuated and to be ready to leave at a moments notice.

Anyway, this neighborhood is extremely lucky that it's a very new neighborhood and only so few of the houses have occupants (around 30~, last I heard) so we should all be able to get to safety relatively quickly. But, already somewhere around 44 houses have been burned and police aren't really taking any big risks.

Blah, all I want you guys to know (other than missing your friendly neighborhood IzE) is to y'kno...support those in the fire. Actually, I have every intention of deleting this post as soon as this crisis is over. Thanks for listening to this rant...if you have even read down here. Again, thanks for taking at least part of your time to read this.

It was...right around 90 degrees over here for most of the day. Plus it was just dust and smoke...they said the tower of smoke went up about 1200 feet in the air. Stuffy out here too, pretty much. And there's been warnings in the lower areas to stay inside as much as possible, since falling cinder-flakes and lots of pollutants from the fire are further polluting the already thick as a soup Los Angeles Basin air.

Truth to tell, I haven't heard the 'copters in a long while...but that just might be because they lay off at night. Though, yesterday, they did continue the water/dust bombings all the way into the night.

So far, there are three evac shelters here, but they haven't called the neighborhood to get out yet...so we're still waiting it out. Again, we'll just have to see what happens before anything major has to happen. Here's hoping...
