CLAMP Works Wish: A Small Masterpiece

It seems like nobody in the entire CLAMP forum posted anything about Wish! It's a short series, with four volumes of manga, and it's really cute. What a sad ending, too. Anyone else read it? What do you think of it? I heard there was an anime, but I'm not sure...

 

I read a few pages of Wish (the 1st manga) and it's sound intresting. I think may buy that one sometime.

4 volumes!? Ah well, I'll still buy it, since it's intresting. ^_^

 

Yeah, it's like a fantasy and a romance. It's very cute, especially when the angels and demons are in chibi form. ^___^

 

If you're looking for animated Wish, then all you're going to find (unless things have changed since I last checked) is a single, short music video. I really wish they'd animate more, because it's a great story!

I read the first volume and i really liked it. I am currently trying to find the other ones but i am having a hard time doing it.

 

Ah. I thought there was an anime for it. Oh well. Raven, you can ask Borders to order it for you....

 

I don't see why it's so good, then again I only read the first volume. I guess it's okay, but it's kinda strange.

As far as the anime, I hunted night and day. The music video your referring to is actually the intro, isn't it.

Kohaku sings, "I wish, I wish, oh I wish upon a star...." right?

 

I loove Wish the angel masters are hot in any case, and so is the son of satan , can never remember its name though

Wish they wrote more about Hisui and son of satan guy, and maybe Hisui and Tokio (? fire angel master) too

 

WISH is my favourite CLAMP manga. and i dont think that it ends sad. i reckon that the ending is good. except i would prefer Kohaku stay with Kouryu(they would be such a cute couple!! and Kouryu is so hot) So, the ending isnt sad, because Kohaku gets to stay on earth with the man he/she loves. However, Kouryu is left broken hearted(thats my guess, i really believe that Kouryu had a huge crush on Kohaku)^_~

 

barnsandnobel.com will have it....they have all 4 vol. I havnt read but a few pages, and from what I have read it looked really good, its on my x-mas list...so I hope to get it ^__^

OMG! i love wish. it is such a cute and romantic story. i really like it even though its short^_^ i have to agree...it did ended quite sad for some reason. but still i like the story. oh about the music video...are you talking about the opening song or the clamp in wonderland(or something like that..i forgot) video?

His name is Kokuyo if you were wondering still. Oh and what are you all saying it's so sad? It ends happy!! Well...near the end it's sad but Kohaku in the end gets to live happily! It really was short those but short of excellent on my scale of great story and art!! Althought I prefer girls and guys to guy and guy and girl and girl. Sorry to those that like it all three ways. Anyway the couples were: Shuichiro and Kohaku, Kokuyo and Hisui, Ransho and Toki and that's mainly all of them...well there's Shusuke and Hotaru Shuichiro's father and mother and his grandpa is Shinichiro.To bad for Koryu, he has his two servents anyway..although I do think he does have a crush on Kohaku!! Hee the way he was so bugged the way Kohaku and Shuichiro looked at each other!! haahahaha kawaiine!!! :anime:

 

I only read the first two books yet a quickly fell in love with it, it was sweet, beautifully drawn, and just made you have a warm tingly feeling in your heart. this kind of story needs to be spread around.

The characters are soo cute when they go chibi in the manga! And I love the great artwork.

CLAMP has outdone themselves again with WISH.

 

I have all four wishes and i love them!!! it is short but hey im short on money to so it all works out,i personaly love ruri and hari (the cat girls) there funny and cute!! (not to mention i love cats cheak the name) :catgirl:

 

I read wish! the son of Satan is a major hottie beside the main character guy!
Wish is one of the best manga I ever read! Clamp has done a wonderful job !
