    Well, folks... it's finally here. :) Anyway, for the first official opening post for the Witch Hunter Robin forum, I decided to post this tidbit of information for those of you who have not heard about it.

    It has been officially confirmed (for quite some time now, a few months), that there will be a Live Action Witch Hunter Robin series.

    I'm not a big fan of Star Trek, though I did enjoy the Ring movie (however, it being not scary)... but I'm sure at least a few of you can agree at least looking at the atmosphere of both the film of the Ring and the multiple series of Star Trek, that Menosky, Davison and Lee could actually pull this off, and not make it look like just another half-***ed attempt to cash in.

    I know a lot of people are strictly against live-action versions of certain shows, however I think Witch Hunter Robin is something that could actually be pulled off (unlike series that are much more unrealistic that would seem absurd to have live-action based series, like Neon Genesis Evangelion or Dragon Ball Z).

    Well, since I do tend to be one of those disdainers of live-action anime remakes... ^^; Heh.

    But in all honesty, you're right. WHR does have more potential to adapt well than some other series. It already has young-adult characters who look fairly normal, so it wouldn't take a lot to find a decent cast - and I can't see where the pllot would need much tweaking. We'll see how this goes. I can't say I'm really in favor of this, because in my experience there's more bad than good history seen in these things... But I'll keep an open mind.

    Any word yet on whether the original cast stays, or is this series focusing on new characters? How close are the plots meant to be?

    I haven't found much else than what I posted as of yet, unfortunately. I hope it will keep the original cast, or perhaps even a pick-up/sequel would be very nice (taking into account WHR's ending).

    After work today, I'll see if I can find anything else and update.

    It will be interesting to see the outcome. A good intresting. I would like to see it. I also am not a great live action anime remake fan. Something’s seem like they are meant to be illustrated/animated. But I would give this one more of a chance, cuz i really enjoyed the anime and it holds great potential. It will be interesting and weird to see. Very inter-esting *exhales in bubble pipe*

    Yeah. I would enjoy a good pick up from the series’ ending. I was left hanging, by the hinges of in conclusion and suspense. Though i would rather see a continuation in the Anime series rather than live action, but beggars cant be choosers. ^^;

    I will stay tooned with SiFi, so i dont miss anything. Keep us updated Amon!

    I would watch this if it is true. Don't get our hopes up Amon. I am actually finishing the DVD's I bought for the anime. Stupid Cartoonnetwork doesn't run Witch Hunter Robin when I am at home. I am not sure if it does anymore. I guess that is okay I bought the DVDs.
