Recreation Words of Farewell

The title is the same as my latest journal as of this moment, but the thread's different. Simple nonetheless!

If you were to leave Boards.Jp, what would your "goodbye thread" or "goodbye journal entry" be?

No, no, I wasn't scared... some other feeling...

Anyway, I don't have any idea what I'd have to say. Being as I don't plan to leave, ever, I don't think I'll ever need a farewell thread, and certainly I'd rather think about more positive things.

 

well since i was stupid i happened to have posted a goobye thread a little while ago, and if i ever decided to leave it would be a journal entry..like this

Well, I wouldn't say to think of this as 'When you leave'. but rather in the extremly rare case. Like just putting:

Even though it's a joke here, and doubted to be edited, in a real situation, it'd be edited and no one will care for someone's meaness!

Nah, I'm just saying I don't have any "words of farewell" because I can't see myself needing them.

Certainly it wouldn't be one for the FYAD archive, I'm sure.

 

If I left, I don't know that any of my close knit buddies here on BJP would be able to read my farewell message through their own tears. Seriously though, I don't think I'd be able to read mine through my OWN tears. I'd be really sad to leave this place and all of the great people I met. My life wouldn't be the same without this place.

 

Hmmm, those words would be quite difficult for anyone to speak. Especially for those of us who have been here for a while. If I had absolutely I had to say something, it would be this:

"A single blossom may fall from the Cherry Tree in the Spring, but with it's fall the rise of so many others after it will continue to blossom even more beautiful."

I think those are pretty close.

 

A simple good bye is enough.

See, I think, in the end, if anything did happen, I'd be debating between simply fading out quietly and posting a goodbye thread. The fact is they don't usually bring forth the best of feelings, and sometimes they cause a lot of problems.

Although I will admit the closure of knowing is a very good thing.

 

Heh, i remember hearing a lot about that (nearly every april fools since i've been here infact), but since it wasn't another couple of months before i joined i never really went back to look for it.

As for me i'd just say a quick goodbye and which that i had gotten to know more people on a more friendly basis, since most of the people that i used to talk to have left (although i still talk to them on MSN alot).

Ha, but when Cloud gets up the next day he'll know he has something VERY important to do, but just can't remember what it is... I can't participate in that whole thing because I wasn't here 3 years ago.

I think most of what people would have to put is, "Well I'm leaving and I've had fun, thanks to yadda yadda yadda, goodbye."

 

vBulletin unbans people automatically when their sentence is up.

And yes, I remember reading back on that. It was rather amusing, to say the least.

 

When I leave. I would give you a nice Downloadable anime with a virus attached.

lol Well, even though it has been a while since Ive been here, Ive had alot of good times here (like speaking my thoughts in the philosophy, debate, soccer sections.....) and so I will probably mention those in my farewell message. But then again, I dont see a reason for a farewell. This place is like my second home...(even though im not posing as much...but I will soon ^_^ )
