Gundam Worst Anime Ever

I'm wondering if any of you Gundam Wing fans out there have ever seen Mobile Suit Gundam. I just caught the movie last night, and that is definitely the biggest waste of two and a half hours in my life. Even bigger than driving from Strathroy to Chatham just to pick up a couch, and then driving back after being there for about five minutes. Even bigger than the time I spent a whole day trying to convince a guy at school that all animation is not for kids. Even bigger than ... Hell, you get the idea.
I would like to know why they made Gundam Wing if the original was this bad. It was horrible! I almost felt like crying when I heard how bad the voice acting was!
Well, let's just hope the Japanese acting was a little better ...

I haven't seen the series. I'm talking specifically about the movie. It takes place in 0079 of the Universal Century, and the series is in 0083. I cannot advise anyone on the issue of the series, as I have not seen it. It should, however, be given the benefit of the doubt, based on how good Gundam Wing is. This is just the opinion of one Raving Madman, though, so don't leave it all up to me.

You sort of have to see the series before the movie makes any sense to you. The series is brillant but i haven't seen all of it yet (only the first 40 episodes) so i'm not watching Endless Waltz till i finish the series.

 

Who's talking about Endless Waltz? We're talkin' the original movie from way back in 1981, yo. You can't tell me that you honestly thought Gundam Wing came first!

 

I've seen the series With Amuro Ray in it an it is absalutly
horibal. It's an insalt to the gundam saga.!!!

Well, now I've seen some of the original series and I hafta say I need to watch the whole gundam wing series 50X to forget that horrible sheeyot. Blecch!

The original series was made in 79, anime has changed alot since then.

I've yet to actually see the first gundam series but I have to say that so far Gundam Wing is the worst of all the Gundam series by far.
It's total shite compared to the 8th MS team, 0080 and 0083.

 

What do you expect of a dub? I have never heard a good dub. So of course we "hope the japanese acting was a little better" From the way you bash it though, it seems that even with better voice acting it would still suck. Sounds like a stinker

can't comment on 8th MS team, 0080 and 0083; haven't seen them. Wouldn't surprise me if they were better than gMan Wing though Anyone else seen those? (going for a second opinion here)
