Recreation Would you rather live in the matrix or in the real world

well i hate to beak it to you but if we had no sun we could only live for a short time after (considering how far it is away maybe 20 years) unless there was a way to prevent the plants from dying. we do need oxygen u know.
if you hate the sun go move to antarctica hardily has daylight
i still would want to live in the matrix because i wouldn't be alone then all my family is there and we are actually related. But if i woke up into the "real world" then who would i be? and would i ever be able to do the things i like or thought i liked? what about my son would he even know me anymore (or have another mommy)?
you might get godily powers but think about all the stuff or ppl u would lose.
its werid i have this itch on the back of my head every once and a while

EDIT: but TD would you give all that up. Your love, your family, and everything that you have known to be true? Or live with the lie (in the real world) the lie is not caring for anything that u have known for so long in the matrix? You know once you leave the matrix everyone will forget you. Its hard once you realise you would have nothing and no one even if you lived in the real world. The ppl you loved won't be there.

 

if all my feelings and all what i went through in my life( the pain i felt and the happy and sad moments i lived and my friends and familly ) is made for me by machines how would i ever know who iam or whats the true feellings like :dizzy2: ..
id rather live in a real world than a world made for me by machines..

 

ugh i happen to be one of those people who hated the matrix
i thought they could have made it a lot better then they had done

so i would like the real world even though theres a lot a bu!!$hit

sun ugh!

your not alone on it i also hate the sun if it was my forget an eclipes i'd try to put it out or more it some where deeper into space

even tho im a pyro i can't stand the sun sometimes

I would have to say, the Matrix! Now, if i were able to live in the matrix, and load up all those things that the resistance can...(in that endless white room, before the enter the matrix) that would rule!

I would rather not know the truth, and live in the Matrix.

but i'd rather live in the real world. i mean. the matrix seems all fun and games, but it's just too much of a fantasy thing for me.

 

id have to say the real world even if it is a crap hole...i mean sure the matrix is nice and sunny and happy and you can live a "normal every day life" but u have no freedom...what if all the machines figured out a new way of obtaining energy? then we'd all be disposed of at any given time...or what happened if there was a huge glitch in the matrix and things started to fall appart in the matrix and everyone started dying horribly and slowly as a result of the glitches or something? didnt the machines say that it took them like 6 times before they got the matrix right? what if it still wasnt right? yeh so id choose the real world =P yay for freedom

Fear of what may happen, I feel, is not a good enough reason to pick either world.
