Anime Yami no Matsuei...Have you guys heard of it???

Well, the question's right there guys...I just discovered it lately while I was watching Ayashi on AXN-Asia. And it looked pretty cool and besides I love anime's like this-dark and funny...

 

I looove it I read some manga summries and it's pretty good. The characters are done well and the story is done well also. All in all it's a good seand I recomend it to anyone who either those don't mind shoen-ai or love shoen-ai.

 

Yeah, you said it Chi! Well, basically I never liked Shounen-Ai, but hey, there's always exceptions right? And besides I liked the story so much, and the main character, Tsuzuki-chan. He's sooooo handsome!!! .....*swoon*.....

 

I like him too he my fave he sooo aborble.

yes, I have heard of it, seen the characters and the art, but I don't know anything about the story. I have heard it's a yaoi type manga... or is it shonen-ai... :dizzy2: I'm confused

anyways the art is good, and especially the guys, they look cute!

 

The story is centered around the main character, Tsuzuki Asato, who is already dead. In fact, he's 102 years old (if my calculation is right). Anyways, in Meifu (land of the dead), there's an agency, I forgot the name, and those who work for that agency is called Shinigami (God's of Death), and Tsuzuki is one of them, one of the most powerful Shinigami. He has a partner named Hisoka, who was killed by a psychopatic, gay, and very cute vampire-like guy, whose name is Muraki (he's the main villain too). This Muraki has a thing for Tsu-chan, which started the whole shounen-ai junk.

This anime has a detective theme to it, 'coz Tsu-chan and Hisoka investigates mysterious deaths. I really love it, save for the shounen-ai thing, but sometimes when Muraki flirts with Tsu-chan, I find it really funny...must be losing it!

Anyway, I highly recommend it to you guys, that is if you don't mind having slight shounen-ai in an anime. ^_^

:dizzy2: You do not know HOW MUCH I LOVE YnM. I'm obssessed. I've read every manga so far and I've seen the anime. I'm collecting the artbooks and everything else I can find of Yami no Matsuei. My favorite characters are Tatsumi, watari, Touda, and SohRyu. Oh, and of course, the Tengu Twins. XD I love yaoi and the anime is full of it :bleed: The doujinshi's that people have put out are wonderful as well. Recommended for anyone who loves yaoi.

 

Thanks so much for mentioning this. I've found a couple of sites with pictures and one with translations of the manga and I've got to get some of that manga! It would be nice to see the anime too.

 

No prob. I already finished the whole anime series, sadly it only has 13 episodes. Which is very irritating...:anger:
