YaoiCon 05 was Funtastic!!! ^^)

This is just a quick note to anyone who was currious to know... I had a BLAST at YaoiCon 05. I will be posting pics this week on my website and adding new members to ACDC (Anime Corrupted Deviant Cosplayers,) which ran around con with orange Trick and purple Treat bags spreading Random Cosplay Fun ness everywhere!!! YEAH!!! The Bishounen were HOT and some were so hot that the best word to describe them is... SMEXY!!! *giggles

If you went then you know how wild and fun it can be ^^) if Yaoi isn't your bag then that's ok, but the Cosplayers that are there are just so full of Random Cosplay Fun ness that it was well.... "It Was All GOOD!!!"

I know that some people just don't understand about Yaoi Con, it isn't all bad and yucky, if your not into Yaoi, Yuri and the such then cool, but Yaoi con gives people a chance to expand on them selves. Imagine if your a guy and all your "guy friends" are down on crossplaying or are homophobic... well then you would never tell them that you wanted to cosplay/crossplay someone like Sailor Moon now would you. Yaoi con gives you the chance to try that out and be excepted for just being curious. It doesn't mean your gay, a fag, or wierd... it means hey I wanted to try something new and be accepted for being me. There are lots of straight guys who go there, and the women who like Yaoi are happy for that. If you want to go, then go and just roll with all of it. The viewing rooms, dealers room and the like are geared towards Yaoi though, but even the straight guys got a kick out of the whole crowd reaction to the Bishi Auction and Bishi Bingo. A few told me that they had fun observing how the females got all into it and were surprised to find out that most of the Bishies were straight. So hang up your hang ups and try it out next year if your curious. Even if you have to sneak away and not tell your friends about it. Go for you and set your focus on being open minded, non judgemental, and to have fun with the whole thing. I think you'll have more fun than you ever thought you could. Besides.... AC DC members will be there spreading Random Cosplay Fun ness and you can always join the group and do something fun with us!!! From doing a skit on stage to meeting people and giving candy out.
