My finals are in about a week, yet I have to attend next week for 2 projects and 2 assignments.. I feel that I need all the time there is to study, but I am not your study-a-holic person. I hate reading.. I hate memorizing.. I hate the fact that I can't memorize things.. I hate how we have to do essay questions rather than MCQs (kinda uni's policy).. I hate the university.. I hate the doctors over there (well, not all, but certainly most of them).. I hate the students..

If it wasn't that this university is #1 in my country, I'd left it long ago..

There are alot of university have opened here recently, but since my university is the oldest, it is still #1. But I believe that this will be gone pretty soon according to the people who attend it (plus its cheap) -new universities are expensive and high status people attend them.

But the fact that you cant get a job unless you know someone who will give it to you (spoil system?) is making me hessitated. Whats the point of working so freaking hard and getting close to mental breakdown when I won't be able to have a job?

Add to the fun, we planned to go to Lebanon this spring because in the summes we didn't and I had to take a summer course (back to the point where I hate studying!); but recently there was a bombing killing someone so everyone now is reconsedering, they might no go afterall.

I know that we don't know the future, but whats the point of working so freaking hard when you will not get rewarded later?

(mind you I studied since last year non-stop: 1st course/2004 (4.5 months), 2nd course/2005 (4.5 months), summer/2005 (1.5 month), 1st course/2005 (3-4 months, they made it shorter to end sooner before the too-much-holidays-coming) and possibly next course as well (4.5 months) without taking a break (break: travelling)..

I know that most of you guys don't do these, but when you get used to something when you are so young its hard to break it..

We have a large number of doctors from other countries here in the US. If worse comes to worse you might be able to get a working Visa and try your hand over here. They seem to be doing pretty well.

Chin up and stay positive. If you drop out now you'll have wasted all the effort you've put into it thus far.

I never studied for an exam in my life. Where am I now? Working in a Safeway deli.... wait, that's no good. :p Seriously, I could get into college if it weren't ridiculously expensive. Be glad you're already in it! I only wish I had your problem. :p

The university I go to is cheap (almost $300 for 4 subjects), kinda has a public view. But I think they charge double for foreigners :p
    Interested?
