Recreation you know what makes me mad?

people saying that topics are unnessisary and then posting on them or closing them down. thats like telling someone to not talk because there words are useless. and dosent that make the boards meaningless?

 

Actually the moderators here only close your thread if it is insulting or a duplicate. O yhea. I even started a thread on what's your favorite pop and they closed it only becuase there was a similar thread

 

Yeah thats pretty much how it is!.

Frankly most of the topics we close have been done before and or are just clutter that ppl like to use to spam with!..

So the moderators close what they/we feel is not fit for the boards..


Thats life and those are the rules we are going By!

Not when its a thread that's been created ad infinitum in the past, like "Whats your favoite anime?" or "Whos the sexiest DBZ *****?"

When you see the same thread, for the tenth time, by the tenth different user, you tend to get annoyed with it. Doubleso if you're a moderator. Please, if you're gonna do something that seems like it _may_ have been done in the past, use the Search button (yep, its right up there between the "F.A.Q." and "Logout" buttons.) to make sure that it hasn't been done before.

 

im not coplaining about lost of the same thing. but when they say theres no point to it, i might as well just stop typing. i have a different oppinion about some stuff. and if its close to the same as another topic, so be it. but they shouldnt tell me its useless.

P.S. they never actually said this to ME, it just makes me mad.

Well, seeing as to how there are, at last count, one billion and two threads in misc (not even counting the other forums), there's bound to be a lot of common themes. Part of the moderators job is to keep the forum simple and accessible, and having 20 different threads about 'WHICH DBZ CHAR IS YOUR FAVE?', etc, is not condusive to that goal. It's not like they close and delete every other thread that gets posted, anything original tends to do fine. If people took a few milliseconds to search instead of posting census topics, the mods would have a lot less closing/moving to do.

In general, if you want to ask a personal question about people here, it's already been asked. Just do a search. If you don't find anything, then post, and you're almost guarenteed that, for your 10 seconds of time invested, you will have a thread that will get looked at, will get replies, and will not be closed by the mods as a duplicate.

people who make fun of other people just becuase they're of a different race or religion or things like that are jerks and can go to hell. I'm with Zanza on that.
