Music Your fav. Anime opening/ending theme song?

What's your favorite opening (or ending) theme song? Not sequence, song!

Mine is Rinbu Revoultion, from Shoujo Kakumei Utena. It's got a nice beat and the extended version kicks arse!

 

It would be a tie between cowboy bebop and inuyasha,they both have great openings and endings.

 

KISEKI NO UMI (the opening to Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight), hands down.

I love that song too, have the extended version... i downloaded it off a friend's website. It IS a nice song, espcailly the extended version but I still say rinbu Revolution. ^^
The new YGo one Warriors is pretty hot too... I think I may have been one of the first YGO fans to hear that song actually. I downloaded it off some site... but lost the url...

 

I would say that the opener is a toss-up between Outlaw Star and Noir. Both are frickin' awesome.

As far as endings are concerned, I would say that my fave is a less well known anime called "Devil Lady". Again, the song is great, and the animation that accompanies is very fitting.

 

Hmm . . . endings . . . .

I LOVE "After, in the dark~Torch Song" from Macross Plus. But I also have a strange attachment to "Lost Blue Sky" from Crest of the Stars.

Trigun's opening is pretty cool.. ending would have to be Cowboy Bebop.

Ending:Burn Up Excess:Future Dream

 

classical- ghost in the shell. Kenji Kawai's as good as it gets.
modern- Boa- Duvet, from serial experiments Lain. the clasical stuff usually is best, cause it doesn't age.

 

I like the opening (Rhythm Emotion) and ending (Last Impression) of Gundam Wing

 

I love My Heart Your Heart - Goddess Family Club ( The Intro of Aa!! Megami-sama )

and Congratulations, the ending theme of Aa!! Megami-sama.

Kotoko's Shooting star and love a riddle, the themes from Onegai Sensei ...

 

Though Gundam SEED may not be very popular (I love it personally) the opening and ending songs are both highly impressive. GS change their title and ending song every 15 or so episodes and all have been very good. The drawings fit well with the songs. Excellent...

Tank and H.T also rule...so does..uh Cruel Angel thesis from Eva and Sakura Saku from Love Hina and....lol i kinda like the ending to .hack//sign

 

Oh yeah... my favorite ending theme...........

Denwa Shita Darling, or however it's spelt. The ending for the adventures of Mini-goddes. Very cute.

And Tokimeki! The ending for Fushigi Yuugi!

Speaking of FY...

The opening for FY Eikouden and ending for it are awesome songs, Chijyou no Seiza is absolutly beautiful (in any review of Eikouden i find they always say things like 'The opening theme will take your breath away' 'the oepning theme is just so ebautiful, you'll love it.' and I must agree) and the ending Yes! is just so great!

 

I have many anime opening favorites and few for endings, cuz most of the ending theme songs are a bit depressing in my opinion like Rahxephon and Inuyasha "every heart".
