Enough talk about teams...lets move on to the players. Name your fave player and why. It could be because he is on your fave team. It could be because of the way he plays...whatever the reason post it down!!

    Mine is:

    (Drum roll please)

    Jose Saturnino Cardozo

1: He plays for my fave team (Red Devils of Toluca)

2: No one has ever scored more goals than him in a season. (58) We were champions that year... :D

3: Hes tempormental...its always fun watching him complain to the refs..

Favorite player eh? I've got several, so I guess I am taking one at each position.

    Goalkeeper

    Sebastian Frey

Oh how I hated the Inter boards when they sold Frey to Parma. He's one of the worlds talented goalkeeper, and I must say, as a Goalkeeper, he's my role model. He's young, quick, and has alot of potential with taking over Barthez shirt in the French squad.

    Defender

Javier "Il Capitano" Zanetti - The heart of Inter. One of the biggest reasons why I love Inter. He's playing for Inter for 9 years now, and he's the heart and soul of Inter. The right defender who never gives a bad match and this was rewarded for the Captain status after Giuseppe Bergomi retired. Forza Zanetti! Il Capitano!

    Midfielder

    Gaizka Mendieta

I adore him when he played at Valencia. His way to work 110% at every game, no matter what it was. He was one of the reasons why Valencia managed to secure a place at the Champions League finals, twice. A decisive penalty kicker, great passing and wonderful goals, made him a trip to Lazio, which he failed miserably. He's now at Middelsbourgh, and I hoping that he will find back his form at the time at Valencia, and become one of the worlds best midfielders again.

    Attacker

    Adriano

What more is there to say? He's the prince of Milan. At the age of 21, he's one of the worlds best attackers. He can scores from everywhere, and his skills are amazing. The solo goal, where he dribbled off two Udinese defenders, and drove the ball from Inters line and ran all the way to the other end, and scored is just a great exampel over what the years would come.

    Hmmm,

Arjen Robben - The guy is pure "magic", not only in the game (Championship manager) but in real life... I'm sure most people will agree that if he didn't play for Chelski, they might not be in the position they are now, or at least not scoring as many goals. And now that he's injured for a month or two... will Chelski cope? Quick feet, powerful shots... managers and players alike often call him 'Any defence's worse nighmare'.

[N.B: I don't support Chelski... I hate their financial side of the club, but their football is great to watch]

    More to add later
