Gundam Zeta Gundam Episode 49 Bodycount

Having seen Zeta Gundam I was wondering if anybody found episode 49's main character bodycount rather high....

Katz gets killed, then the Captain of the Radish, then Jerid,then that savage titans officer whos name I forget, then Recoa gets nailed and Emma is mortally wounded and dies in the next episode.

(If I forgot anybody because i blinked please inform me)

I know Gundam has a reputation for killing people off but damn... isnt that a bit much. Honestly i have never seen so many main characters get offed in seperate circumstances (End of Evangelion doesnt count as A its longer and B 3rd Impact was a single event so reallys its roughly only 4 seperate events).

 

Yeah, Zeta kills off alot of the characters. But I think that V Gundam is the worse of them, alot more characters in V die than in Zeta Gundam.
