    That it is, and the sequel to the Mikuru movie :D
    I've seen one of the illustrations...Haruhi + Chinese dress + high slits = happy Kyon.

    I bet any money the new member is Tsuruya and it turns out she's a slider. A slider is the one thing in Haruhi's first day speech that hasn't shown up yet, and if it were Tsuruya, it might explain her ending up friends with Mikuru, because time travelors and sliders are pretty similar.

    If it's not Tsuruya, it's got to at least be a slider. :x

    Maybe the talking cat we saw in Mikuru-Chan Episode 00? :)

    And maybe I'm getting edgy, but don't forget to keep your spoilers appropriately tagged if you're one of those who've read ahead of the anime coverage. I'm one who isn't reading ahead and would like to go in fresh. ^^;

    I haven't seen this anime yet, still on my to-see list. Wanted to stop by and say one of Vance's future realeases are 2 Haruhi Pinky Street figures; there are no images as of yet.

    I just saw episode "1" of this show this past Sunday. And by "1", I mean "00". And by "00", I mean... you get it. :p

    Bloody brilliant, is about the only thing I can say about it. Honestly, because of a lot of the hype I've been hearing for this show, I wasn't expecting much; that episode blew me away. The attention to the detail of making it look so much like a horrible amateur film, complete with poorly-recorded voice-overs, commercials, and bad lighting, was enough to make the amateur film star in me squee. XD

    Can't wait to see the rest of this.

    Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Season 2???

    Have you guys heard about the rumor spreading around the Internet about a second season for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya:confused:
    I'm just curious, because I happen to stumble upon a lot of sites saying there is such a thing, but I have seen a reputable anime news site reporting that it is all a hoax :( Too bad, I was hoping to see a next season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...

    Someone linked Anime News Network's automated IP ban script to a false rumor of a second season many months ago. This time around the announcement is for real, though - July's NewType magazine had a feature on it.
