What skills did daddy have as a Shinobi? Jiraiya did say "It's no fun teaching someone who is already perfect" and
It took Yondaime 3 years(?) to master the Rasengan and it took Naruto a week.
It's true Naruto doesn't have inherited talent, but he has inherited will and strength! Remember, a ninja is something a shinobi becomes!

as far as the villagers hating Naruto, I find the general community ignorant. and the major clans don't seem to have really cared. I mean did Neji sneer at him for carrying Kyubi in him? (no he sneered at him for being a loser lol) Anyways. For those kind of people, the son of a hero it wouldn't matter. Still I find it ridiculous they hate Naruto even though it isn't Naruto, Naruto should be held in high regard for having become the vessel to have stopped the menace from 12 years ago.

Well, it took Yon-sama (Weird! Yon means "four"! Oh... Daime... Yon-daime... dude I'm slow) three years... but he developed it, too.
I'm not saying Naruto sucks... his will and stamina are amazing, but it's no secret that he dosen't have any natural genious. In Naruto, it's all about family bloodlines, family bloodlines. So he should've inherited that.
Also, if he was the Fourth's son, why dosen't he recieve special training like Konohamaru does? Specially since he's the demon fox! More reason to teach him to control the seal.

And maybe the villagers weren't ignorant. They were just hurt, and Naruto seemed the proper scapegoat. It's terrible, but it's human nature.

Despite all that, I fully believe Naruto is the son of the Fourth! xD

You kind of answer your own question. The Fourth was supposedly the greatest Hokage, and he gets killed in the Kyuubi attack by sealing the nine-tails in Naruto. Being that he DOES get killed, even though he IS Naruto's father, Naruto gets the brunt end of it. Why?

Well, people can understand the self-sacrifice it took for Yondaime to give the Kyuubi's essence in his OWN son, nevertheless giving up his OWN life in the process. He probably would have taken it into himself, if he was able, but they had to use a kid to seal him in.

But, I don't think I made any sense in what I just posted, so don't mind me...

I guess that's what happens when I post a post against what I'm not against and say that.

    If that made sense. o_o

Well hopefully it will all be revealed in good time. I like how Naruto is written. We can discuss anything for a long time and possibly get no where. Like that other forum did. lol.

I wonder why Kyubi is so mean.. too bad he isn't funky but maybe that's a good thing:p

LMAO, that would be nice! But you know, Demons tend to be angry people. ^_^ Or, err, foxes.

I loved discussing with people during the Chuunin exam. SUSPENSE!

For Naruto's troubles, compare him to the situation of Gaara, who was likewise the heir of the Kazekage, yet was feared and hated because of the monster inside him. Naruto has something alike. He just did not lash out at people because he had Iruka.

The third and fourth may be closely related, or, if it is proven that Naruto is a direct descendant of the fourth, Tsunade and the fourth could be much more close - don't let the concept of cousins and such escape. Tsunade thought only of the little brother and lover because those were the foremost in her life. It is very probably that Naruto and the 4th are directly related, and if not, indirectly. Even if the Kyuubi seal gave off similar traits, I doubt that it would give off a striking similarity of that level. Remember, in the sealing technique, the caster's soul is sacrificed to Shinigami, so the soul would not be in Naruto.

Actually, I disagree with almost everything you said. ^_^ Gaara and Naruto were very different. Gaara's power wasn't meant to be sealed, and he was at a different social level completely from Naruto. Naruto wasn't spoiled by anyone, and he had the seal to control his power. He didn't have Gaara's talent at all, since he couldn't unlock Kyuubi's power. Also, it wasn't Iruka, because from what we see in the series, Naruto didn't develop that deep bond with Iruka until much later. Iruka effected Naruto's childhood in no way. And that's the important part when comparing the two boys.

Furthermore, why do you say the third, fourth, and fifth are related? It's not like it's a monarchy, they don't have to be realted at all. o_0 What does the rest you mentioned have to do with it? And also, though Kyuubi gives Naruto power and characterizes him slightly in his anger (of course, that depends on who you ask...), he in no way effects Naru-chan's direct personality. Sure, it's because of Kyuubi he's so hated, but that dosen't change his nature.

Actually, in flashbacks of the forest battle, it is said that Gaara's powers were SUPPOSED to be able to be controlled by Gaara. The fact that he couldn't control those powers completely and thus became unstable was the reason why Kazekage sent assassins after him. If he was able to control the power of the demon inside him, he wouldn't be feared, but he probably would be in a similar case to Naruto. Though Gaara was spoiled, one should realize that it either had very, very little effect on his approach on the characteristic part of his development, or made him still hated because of the fact that he was spoiled. Also, Gaara didn't really have a lot of talent despite his awesome powers. Remember, the gourd does all the working, not Gaara. Gaara himself is very bad at Taijutsu, he hasn't exhibited Genjutsu strengths, and most of his ninjutsus (other than the Forced Sleep) also use the gourd's sand as the channeling point. Yes, he controls the sand using Chakra in Coffin, Graveyard, and other conventional sand offensives, but I'm pretty sure that the gourd assists him. Naruto has no such inherent aid - he just has the potential power, not power already shown, as Gaara's. And actually, Iruka affected Naruto a good bit before the start of the series. We can see flashbacks about Naruto early in the series, or when he was comparing himself to Gaara, where yes, Iruka does become a friend of Naruto's, even if it is in a later part of his childhood - Iruka doesn't spontaneously treat Naruto to ramen in Episode 1, it's probably been a habit. Remember that Gaara's friend was sent to assassinate him. We don't see much of Naruto's early early childhood, as in how he lived ever since his baby-hood, but whenever we see some semblance of his earlier times, we also often see Iruka.

And Kyuubi does indirectly affect his personality. Of course, the fact that Kyuubi's in there does't directly change anything, but the fact that the people know that it is in there, and acted towards Naruto knowing that, forced Naruto to adopt his own kind of attention-getting personality. If there was no Kyuubi in Naruto, he wouldn't have had such an attention-getting personality, in an attempt to be recognized by the rest of the village.

I never stated that the Hokages had to be related. However, we are talking about Naruto's possible family here, no? It was a matter of speculation. Why could Sandaime use Yondaime's special technique where he could not use those of the first and second Hokages? Why does there seem to be a distinct lack of blonds in the common cast? We have already established that the 4th could very well be Naruto's father, but notice the closeness that Tsunade recognizes between her little brother and Naruto. More than the dream, she said - and it is true that appearance is very similar too, if not the same hair color. I was bringing up the possibility that Tsunade could be related to Yondaime/Naruto. I stated of Tsunade's excuse because she may have had other relatives, other loved ones, than her brother and lover - ones whose links haven't been revealed yet. The soul-not-appearance point was referring to the third post in the topic.

It dosen't matter whether or not Gaara has any natural ability. He's still feared. Also, the people of the sand made no effort at all to teach Gaara to control the demon from a young age from what we've seen. Obviously, Gaara can control the demon to some extent, too. Remember when he lost it during the Chuunin exam fight with Sasuke? That would be him if he had no control. Every time we see him go crazy, and his teammates get scared, that's him not being able to control it. And the people of the Leaf never had any intention of letting Naruto control the fox. The situations are different, though the lonliness remains. Gaara was a weapon, and Naruto was a shield. Also, Iruka didn't influence or know Naruto before he began Ninja school, so he obviously didn't influence his childhood, which is the point I'm trying to make. We're comparing the same periods in each person's life. I know later on Iruka began to influence him, I stated that above, but that's not the point.

That's exactly what I just said. Glad we agree. ^_^

Oh, I see. Well, do remember that Sandaime taught Yondaime... also, so what if there aren't many blondes? Are you saying Ino and Chouji are Tsunade's long lost cousins? That's a completely irrelevant factor to base evidence on. Also, I don't think the resemblance between Tsunade's brother and Naruto means they're related... I guess it's a possibility, but probably a coincidence. I believe Naruto is Yondaime's son, but to be related to Tsunade, too? That's really stretching it. It's kinda cheesy, too. And if that was true, Tsunade isn't the type of person who'd leave an orphan in her family like that. And what if Tsu-chan dosen't know? Well, then, who does? We wouldn't find out.

Actually its pretty close to a monarchy because the First and Second were brothers(at least in the translation I'm reading) and Tsunade is the first's Granddaughter

    It has been awhile.

Didn't the fourth want Naruto praised for what he carries? Instead of people how people acted before. Shunned. It is kind of like he was looking out for the child.

Why was he never told who his parents are? It seams like it.

I was thinking the way the story goes that Narutos father will show up. He will be either real or fake. If he is fake then Naruto will find out that he is the fourths son. But being the fourths son will lose a lot of impact on his "new style of ninjutsu." You know were he can accomplish anything no matter what the rule is. So if he had ever become a hokage that is where I think he would find out about being the fourths son or not that is probably more likely then what I thought.

A couple other thoughts that may or may not have been brought up prior to this....

The kyuubi was sealed inside a newborn child who just had its umbilical cord cut. As we know, that child is Naruto. It is entirely possible that his mother died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. So that takes Naruto's mother out of the equation.

I've thought that the Fourth has to be Naruto's father for a while now, if only for one very simple reason. Why would he seal this demonic being into a random child of the village? He doesn't seem like the type to do that. As much as it would pain him to do so, he would be most likely to seal the beast inside his own child.

Never thought of that but very possible.

Samething I thought about. I think that we may never truely find out. It is kind of crappy but I think the hints along the way is all we will get.

    BUMP.

The next thing is that Akatsuki leader is Naruto's father.

Considering there are no clue's to who he is it could be true. Unlike the other's we don't know where he came from.

Well now we know the Akatsuki Leader, who isn't really the Akatsuki Leader, named Pein, is from the Amegakure.

We also know the REAL Akatsuki Leader, Tobi, who is really Uchiha Madara, is from... obviously, Konohagakure.

Wow. Chapters change things so quick like.

So I am taking it most of the members don't know who Tobi really is?

    Maybe all except Itachi.

Kisame clearly doesn't. Zetsu might. "Byakko" and Pein definitely do and I wouldn't doubt that Itachi does. Deidara clearly didn't and I'm sure Sasori didn't either. Orochimaru might've. I highly doubt Hidan did (he seemed to think Tobi was just another newbie, too). Not sure about Kakuzu. I think Tobi might've known.

    Tobi should have known. lol

So what are the takes of Pein being the father?

Maybe be possible mother could have been from Konohagakure. Didn't tell anyone who the father was.
