Anime 1979 anime version of The Little Mermaid

    Now that you mentioned it.. I think I saw something like that long time ago.. sounds familiar.. though, I have this tape "Swan Lake", I think it was an old anime.. but doesn't work anymore :/
    If anyone who remembers the story can you tell me something specialy about it to make sure if it was the anime version or not?

    I have a Swan Lake tape and it's still in working condition! Yes it's anime, but really old. ^_^ I don't know if we can discuss Swan Lake here, or in a new thread...

    Little Mermaid and Swan Lake Made by Toei


    I have the anime version of swan lake as well, here is a picture you can see. The Little Mermaid and Swan Lake were both produced by Toei Animation.

    where to buy

    this question may have been answered and i missed it, if so sorry. but i bought the anime version of the little mermaid on ebay. it is on dvd and good quality sound and visual. but they often are selling it there but sometimes it goes for a VERY high price.

    I didn't even know they had a Little Mermaid Anime. Wow, talk about weird, didn't thik Disney was into Anime. *sits back and thinks for a long time*
