    Edit: I'd like to take this oppurtunity to clear up a silly fallacy about mankind "depending" on artificial cures. We've always depended on the artificial. Artificial fur (clothing), artificial claws (weaponry), and so forth. Mankinds lone advantage is its ability to use tools (which inherently are artificial), and we're awesome at it.
