    have any of you heard of animatrix i saw it on a commercial

    Interesting stuff, even if not as good as the live-action movies.

    I dunno, The Second Renaissance really did grab me to the point where I wanted them to make an entire movie about it. The others are at the very least interesting. Final Flight of the Osiris has always been kind of a favorite for me (due to three things: 1, ties in with Reloaded. 2, nice soundtrack. 3, nice "visuals"... winku winku) I have a DivX DVD rip of it that I've yet to watch.

    Detective Story was my favorite of the bunch but i really liked program too. Too bad they don't exceed 7 minutes :sad:

    picking up the dvd special edition tomorrow...tho, couple days ago finally saw a couple eps of it. very nice. looks neat.

    I picked up the "Special Edition" DVD, like BB-chan is going to do. The episodes themselves were okay, with some being great. I loved that some were just great animation concepts. I especially enjoyed Matriculated and World Record. The Aeon Flux, and overboarded animation styles. Those were great in the animation they presented.

    However, I think the Second Renaissance is the one that stood out among them all. They way they showed the story, and the way it was presented, it was amazing. Disturbing, yet amazing. Tienemen Square, the Holocaust, etc...all those images based of those horrid times made the short films extremely powerful.

    Good game. It's worth the buy, for just the DVD at a discounted price. But, I'm not sure of the OST yet. ^_^

    i saw the comercial. it looks really good. is it in movie theaters or what??? if so when??? i want to see it whenever it comes out.

    it came out on dvd the 3rd(yesterday) everywhere. not a theater movie...

    watched this today. rather dissapointing really:( . I have rather a strong dislike for 3d cg.) I liked the animation style of kids and detective story. interesting. That pretty much sums up the whole thing. interesting, no more. this is the sort of thing that doesn't warrent too many views in my opinion.
    on the upside, it came with a free dvd that had trailers to every anime known to man:) . and episodes of cowboy bebop, noir eva and a few others. That impressed me. (except for the ghost in the shell trailer) has anyone got this on dvd?. because from the trailer it looks like its been re-dubbed and the soundtrack (music and effects) have been changed... not cool:mad:

    I just saw it.I'm not sure if I like it or not yet.Rather confusing when you get about an hour and a half into it.I liked the one Shinichiro Watanabe did best.It was called "A Detective Story" or something.

    Yeah, i thought Detective story was best and they redubbed GITS????!!! Not cool...

    while i was watching it with my friend i was telling him how "Detective Story" Reminded me of Cowboy Bebop stlye mixed with some Big O i personailly loved the whole DVD...
