I find it hard to imagine it being boring in NYC, but you are the one living there, not me. Hang in there, there are plenty more out there that are in the same single state as you, so in a sense you are not alone!

One time, in an effort to go eliminate my singlehood, me and the lads went to a local pub with the intent of picking up a few girls. There are two funny stories that follow. I see one cute girl at the end of the bar. I figure 'what the hell' and order her a Sex on the Beach. It's sent over to her. I nod her way. She nods back. I walk over and begin to talk. It turns out that she was a co-owner of the pub. As for my friend Tyler, he was up at the bar ordering a Whisky Sour, when all of a sudden, a cougar lunges at him. (For the daft or inexperienced, a 'cougar' is a slang term meant for pointing out a woman of at least 35 years of age hitting on the young men) "Where are you goin', CUTEY?" Tyler very quickly walked back to me and the guys and hid behind us for the next hour or so.
