Anime Argh... this annoys me

Having made that half-assed comment regarding making an OAV series to bring the series to a conclusion, I apologise. Only with more research into the manga series on the internet have I found out just how epic that series really is. It's such a shame that they refuse to make any more anime (if at all) until the manga is finished, because as we all know, that can take years sometimes, especially in the world of manga, where artist can sometimes take breaks away from their work for several years. I just really hope that another series of Berserk comes out, and if not, that viz or dark-horse realise the manga's potential and release the whole damn thing to the western world.

 

They are available to area's outside of japan. The series was on TV in spain a few years ago and they have since released a spanish translated edition of the manga officially.
Theres been numerous rumours about the license for the manga being picked up but nothing really concrete.

As for the liklihood of a new anime. Well i don't think even one of the volumes has come out on time. Kentaro seems to be prone to sickness and what have ya. Vol. 24 was due out early this month, still no sign!!

 

EEEE I got the first Berserk DVD and the art box thingie today in the mail!!!!! It's so...so...epic!!
