I was wondering what people thought of heard. i actively and openly hate her. Acoording to quizilla i am most likely to kill her.

 

I just find it so confusing on what she finds so complicated in life... she's what? 15? My friend would like to do nasty nasty things to her though *shivers*

She is a total poser, since she is not a punk skater, if i ever meet her i will cut her up with knives... she is pretty hot though and we both live in the same city, Toronto.

well, honestly, i dont think she's that good looking (but thats me, so whatever).
i mean, i dont want to KILL her, per se (*cough* lie lie lie *cough*) but, i do read about her (i have a weird tendancy to read about things i hate so i can validate why i hate them) and i wouldnt have a problem with her if she was nice, and repectful, and knew what she was talking about once and a while. i've seen interviews with her, and she has no enthusiasm whatsoever, she looks as if shes stoned, and answers the same question differently to each reporter. she can be pretty hypocritacal, also, and i just...dont find her a pleasant person.

 

Avril Lavigne is a disgrace to the good name Canadian musicians like the Guess Who and the Tragically Hip have built up. She's a whiner, a poser, and shows her *** way too much in public.
One time at school, someone in a class asked if I liked her music, and I said something like it sounds like a keyboard getting kicked to death by a harmonica (thank you, Seanbaby).
Also, I hear she's a real [I promised not to use that word]. She's extremely over-rated as a musician, and as a person.

 

Firstly, her music is crap. She sings like Britney Spears. She is not even good enough to be labeled as pop-punk.
Secondly, we feel the need to kill her because she's a poser. The evidence of that is, if you look at the way she dresses you are obviously going to think she is a hard core punk, and therefore likes hardcore music like the Unabombers and Anti-Flag, then you hear her sing and she's a Britney wannabe.

 

Let's keep this thread civilized or it will be closed.. some of you may not like her but that's no reason to flame.

I liked some of her songs at the beginning, to be honest but now her songs are way overplayed and I'm sick of them. They should leave room on the radio for developing bands and not play the same Avril songs over and over...

As someone already put it oh-so-well, she's a poser, plain and simple who's trying to get in one the whole money-sceme via bullcrap songs (that she can't really sing as she has a lack of a good voice) and trying to set trends (like that stupid tie thing). I say we kill her, but then again, that's my solution to everything. S'just my opinion.

 

I don't anything against her personally. She just seems to be controled by the label. She does what they say and she gets a wad of cash and fame to boot.
She's just part of the tradition of manufactured pop. It's how the major record labels stay major.
Once the record labels get a wiff of something that's gonna be popular in the future they'll just jump on that and ride it for all it's worth.
At the moment it's rebelous high schoolers.
Yeah it's hypocritical and a whole load of crap, but I wouldn't blame it on her.
She knows what she is, same way we do.
But she gets that all important wad of cash to make her say otherwise.

I hate her. Seriously.
I wear a tie with my school uniform, and people say that I copy her. NO I DON'T, DERN IT! I didn't even KNOW she wore that tie until I saw her on the cover of a magazine. I got pissed.

She's a bloody poser. Yeesh.

 

The way I see it, she started off as a halfway-decent musician whose big thing was that she was different because she had no image. Now, of course, she IS an image.

And of course, she shows her butt crack way too much.
