It's all about MOVE, I tell you! Rage Your Dream, Gamble Rumble, Around The World, Break Into The Night, Silent White, Take Me Higher, Sweet Vibration, Wanna Fly To Be Wild and Words Of The Mind are all classics.
Although I have to admit that Utada Hikaru did a great thing with Foxy Brown when they made Blow My Whistle (although the sexual conotations kind of make the lyrics boring).

Move is pretty cool, but I only have their song Around The World. Did you see the music video for it? It's pretty interesting cuz the female doesn't seem to be Japanese.

This guy on my floor heard me listening to MOVE once, and he said "Is that girl hot? She sounds hot!" or something to that effect. I wouldn't know. I've only ever seen any of the band members in the ending credits of Initial D. So, no, I haven't seen the video. She certainly sounds Japanese, though. If you haven't heard any of their other songs, and you like the whole techno-pop thing, you should get yourself more of them. They're probably the best in the world at what they do.
I'm totally feeling the sweet vibration.

MOVE is good, as Novus mentioned. I recommend Destiny and Romancing Train along with the ones already listed. Utada Hikaru's PlanitB remix of "HIKARI" is a great song too, and anything by See-Saw is good.

Most of the Japanese stuff I listen to is rock, but I can still recommend a few:

    Successful Mission - Megumi Hayashibara
    Shining Girl - Megumi Hayashibara
Watashi Wa Koneko - Megumi Hayashibara
    Cherish Christmas - Megumi Hayashibara
    Touch Yourself - Megumi Hayashibara
    Omokage - Megumi Hayashibara
    Infinity - Megumi Hayashibara
Cha La Head Cha La - Kageyama Hironobu
Hikari No Willpower - Kageyama Hironobu

That's about all I can really say that isn't by MOVE. I really like MOVE, if you can't tell. Get anything by them.

UTADA HIKARU IS PROBABLY THE MOST OVER RATED THING IN J-POP. I SWEAR, if you didn't know, her parents are flithy rich. She got into the business because of them, she bougth her way through.
I only like Hikari and sakura Drops. the only songs of her's i like.

I ;ole Current's Day After Tomarrow. It's a really pretty song. And Zone's Hanabi. Those are two of my favorite Jpop songs. And Aya Ueto. She can sing. I love the song Message. Unlike alot of you, my list isn't as long though, cause I'm to lazy to look for more.

Has anybody listened to Ayumi Hamasaki's latest album? It's called "Memorial Address". I -love- the songs on it, especially Because of You.

Another artist I really love is Rina Aiuchi! Her songs are great, Especially Sincerely Yours and Infinity.
