Battle Royale: One of the greatest ( and bloody ) movie ever made in Japan.

42 students gets kidnapped and gets placed on an island, they all get a weapon, only one survives.

Graphic Novels: Bascilly the size of a novel book, but contains manga. Albums, in other words

 

What Takeshi Kitano's movies i've seen they all are extremely violent and also funny in a sick way . I didn't know there was some...novels?...from it.

Holy moly. That sounds like a mix between Super smash brothers, Lord of the flies and a medievil battle (add in a pinch of "pure chaos" and you can see what i'm picturing here). Like always, i'm probably way off.

Was it an actual movie or an anime (if it was an anime you would have said so, but just making sure).

 

Its a Movie with human beings...and alot of blood...and more blood...and blood....and B L O O D...

 

Its a good movie, but i didn't like seeing all those girls getting killed.

Those who have watced kitanos movies, is there even one film where he doesn't kill himself? whats with the guy...

I love this film .. the story is original , diverting and funny ( at certain moment ) ..... she inspire me a lot for create mangas also original ..

 

Well, i got my copy of it...and it's more "bloody" than the Movie...that's only my opinion though

BTW this is a Manga forum, and if you guys are talking about the movie more than tha actual manga, I'd suggest that this goes in the movie forum.

 

I need the Manga. please send scan's or maybe scanlations. I don't need the whole thing...yet. I just wanna see the cool art. I saw this pic from the manga in the 'Anime Insider' Magazine. I thought that girl holding the gun looked soo sool, kawaii too. So moody and sad. And at the top of the page (the article was a page long) It said in bold letters "KILL YOUR BOYFRIEND" It seemed really cool. Never watched the movie though. hmm...sounds interesting. The pic was in color by the way. Made it even cooler.

 

I'd scan the pages for you to see, but our scanner is broken. Can't you just go to the store and browse the anime mangas? Anyways, the art in the manga is pretty interesting... has a different feel from the movie since some of the characters look pretty whack.

 

I just got my copy of it. And when they wrap it in plastic they really mean it. I bought it anyway and i'm 13. Wow! 5 years early. I like Noriko. She's cool. But some parts of it are just sad. Sad as in 'poor thing'. But it's totally cool.
