Ranma 1/2. Between me and my sister, we own about 3/4 of the manga and have seen some of the anime. For Inu-Yasha, though, i only own the first 2 mangas, and i haven't seen the anime. Plus, Ranma's funnier.

Ranma and Maison Ikkoku has my vote. UY was really good but it's a bit too insane for my taste. :p

Urusei Yatsura is my favorite. It's main girl, Lum, is more original than Kagome. Kagome's way too stereotypical...

Well, I like both Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha. In fact, they are some of my favorites. How could you make me decide between them?! Anyways, I chose Inuyasha. I don't know why, but it just popped in my head when I looked at the choices.

Mine is Urusei Yatsura! It's really funny and I've grown fond of it.

Regardless of the series, I think the characters always look like ***. Her style is alright to look at for maybe one volume or so, but I can't take much more than that. Also, her sense of humour gets really old really fast. I can't really speak for some of her works, but in Ranma 1/2, for example, she just seems to repeat the same jokes over and over again, just putting a different spin on them every time in a half-assed attempt at making them seem original.
In case you can't tell, I'm not a fan.

Since we're talking about Manga, I'd have to say Ranma... Inuyasha is, in my opinion, the better anime, though
