I'm just your average cook. Anything that's in the frigde that looks like it's going to taste good together is my motto for cooking . . . I rather like cooking though, it's the clean up that I hate. :anime:

I suck at cooking! The only edible thing I can cook is vegetable omelletes, and pasta. I need to understand the art of tasting, because I have already destroyed my taste buds by eating my horrible food. If I could I'd give more time to learn how to cook and using especially mom's recipes and techniques. She's a fab chef! I got to learn!

I "Cook" all the time, but the outcome is rarely definable as "Food".
Wolfwood can confirm this, as the Unfortunate recipe recipiant of my Culinary calamities. :anime:

I can cook fried rice simply enough, but mostly I don't bother and make instant noodles and/or microwaved delights. I'm too lazy to be standing near a stove and doing all the foody work.

You'd better believe it Seb, I do all the cooking at my place and its good.
Believe me, after 5 years of constant cooking for that yawning abyis (abyss? abus? how do you spell that?) Legato, I'm pretty good at it.

The first food learned how to make was an instant kraft dinner mix, and the only place I learned how to cook was at school. Couldn't even cook spaghetti or bake biscuits or cookies or make a l'il potato cake if there was no cooking class :sweat2: But when my mom was away from home one day 3 years back, my dad showed me and my brother how to use the frying pan to fry things like eggs and bacon.

MM. I don't think you're meant to be able to slice soup.
and muffins should never, ever deflate.

well cooking is always a challenge. If I had all the time int he world I would try to sort of master a great cultural variety of foods.. but I love experimenting and maybe that's a weakness or a strong quality with cooking. of course I've made nasty mistakes while making bread and rice.. ones no one else recalls. so that's good news!

Ugh, this brings back bad memories of Home Economice class *shudders*, I didn't have a clue and neither did most of the people in my class, so we spent most of our time trying to hide the fact that we had no idea what we were doing, which you can get pretty good at after a while :sweat2: . But, after three years of cooking once a week in class, I've improved, I bake a cake now...if someone else helps me, and I learned how to make a tomato fish bake for my exams, which tasted awful, but if I put a twist of lemon on top, it at least looked ok.....ok maybe I can't really cook so well then, I'd probably manage to make a mess of boiling an egg :dizzy: .
