Anime CHALLENGE/helping a fellow anime lover

i have seen quite alot of series and i recon i have seen all the stuff that is decent out there (at the moment) and need to see soemthing new.

what i am asking NAY ... pleeding is that if you have seen an anime/manga series that you thought was particuarly good that isnt on my list could you please please please post the name to this thread.

Rurouni Kenshin

You listed the "Samurai X OVA", but the series for Samurai X (a.k.a. Rurouni Kenshin) is pretty good too. Also, there are 2 OVA's, and although I've only seen one, the Tsuiokuhen (Trust & Betrayal) which is my all-time favorite movie, the other OVA, Seisouhen, should be pretty good as well.

I too,will add Big O. It's an often overlooked series that many dismiss before it's charm and unique feel have a chance to rub off on them.

I would add Chobits, (actually, the manga is better)
Love Hina is added... (wonderful romantic comedy!)
and Inu Yasha... which seems to be very popular these days. It's a good adventure/action/romance anime.
And... Angelic Layer. The fighting in the anime is really choerographed(sp?) well, and it's just... cute.

 

Surely there are others. I thought ZakoSoldier was a Big O fan, too. I can't think of any others off the top of my head, but I know they're out there.

RANMA 1/2 The manga is good but so is the anime so I recomend it......
