Oh forgot about Ranma 1/2 it is very good although I would recommend watching up to season 2 or season 3 because afterwards it tends to become repetitive.

Well, kinda. I'd put OMG in the same Genre as Love Hina, along with a few similar aspects, but that's it.

They're both about a loser type of guy finding this perfect (err...would Naru really count? She's violent...but, whatever) girl. But, to me, that's where it ends, mostly.

Love Hina has a LOT of females falling for that loser-type guy. At least seven. But, it's also cute. Great series in that all the girls are different enough that it isn't just a guy gets the girl kinda thing.

HOWEVER, I will say that if you liked OMG, then you're bound to like Love Hina. Why? Because fates are kind that way. Ask Teddz^, he's one of THEM. Bwahahahaha.

Well, if you want a few manga examples too...

    M-A-R-S [drama]
Love Hina (Which is better than the anime)
His and Her Circumstances (AKA: Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou)
    Ranma ½
RahXephon (More comedic than it's anime counterpart...and a slightly different take on Reika!!!!11!)
.hack//DUSK (AKA Legend of the Twilight Bracelet)
    Azumanga Daioh [comedy]
    Yamada Taro [comedy/shounen]
    Bremen ["punk rock"/shounen]
    Bleach ["punkish"/supernatural/action]
    Hikaru no Go [drama/comedy/"chess"]
Hajime no Ippo (Probably better as an anime...but I haven't seen it yet...) [boxing/action]
    Peace Maker Kurogane [action]
Try! Try! Try! [Comedy, from the same maker of Azumanga Daioh]
Yakitate!!! Ja-Pan! [comedy...about bread...see title for the pun]
Futari Ecchi [for you perverts/newlyweds...or for those who want comedy...]
    FLCL

    etc..etc...etc...

This from someone who has a butt for an avatar, and has watched nothing but a single SMJ episode. ^^

Furi_Kuri, you can get some background on SMJ from the Series Info sticky in our Saber Marionette forum here on M2A.

You can also read how it impacted a great number of fans here in the community in this wonderful thread here. Some really good testimonies there to its greatness.

Probably the same exact thing that Furi Kuri stands for.

    Then there's SMR, which happens...after (?) J. Also, JtoX...and stuff. Yeah.

It means that it's kind of like the "Next" and "Try" in the two Slayers seasons. I think. The J is just sort of there, basically. The full show name is "Saber Marionette J". It means nothing, like "Furi Kuri".

I hope that's right... (not seen SMJ yet) That's what I gathered from the explanation.

Speak in riddles, I do. Very cryptic, he is.

    ^_^

Yeah, Bap, that's pretty much what I'm saying. The letters don't really have much to do with anything, other than denoting another season or timeline kinda thing. At least, not from what I've seen.

Knowing Matt, as soon as he sees this, he'll clear it ALLLLLLLL up for us. Why? He's the only SMJ fan here. Just kidding Matt. SaberJ2X is one too. *winku*
