    Well, I do think Chii is kinda cute. But I like that um other side of her more. Chii's innocence does make her cute. I also agree with other posts. I won't think she is all that cute. They do put her in exotic outfits after all. But I still think she is cute... a little;)

    I like Chii. Her personality makes her cute. Specially when she hugs this guy (argh forgot his name) welcoming back.

    Yes, I like her innocence.

    Still, she won't beat the #1 innocence queen: Lime, from SMJ! Yay! :D

    However,

    from what i've seen / read, this forgotten memory implies a very painful past. Why does Black Chii look so... dark and mysterious? It seems to me like a split personality derived from previous abuse.
    Anyway, this just makes me like her more! ^_^
    I love these characters with a hidden past, don't you?

    I thought chi was cute.. she reminded me of like a tiny puppy. Also theres the whole thing about how she wants to find happiness.. it makes you feel sad and yet hopeful for her!

    I only read number 1 as of five minutes ago, but i am already drawn within the story and want to read the second one, but i got to wait for Sarah to give it to me.

    And then I wonder if Joanna will want to read X/1999. Hmmmm...

    Sry, im just ramblin bout my manga friends.

    Well, in my opinion, yeah, im not all like... CHII!!!! O YEAH!!!

    But, shes cute.

    She speaks like a japanese 10 yo girl (like Chihiro in Miyazaki's Spirited Away). And although she doesn't express it clearly, she has fallen in love with Hideki long before he get's what's happening between him and his persocon. Like many RL girls she doesn't says what's happening through her head openly.
    This is not another robot story with an awesome looking girl, written buy a guy. It's a story that has a huge amount of reality and that could happen in a near future, perhaps in Japan, Europe or North America, and it was written by women, thus the different point of view (and size of breasts :bleed:). Yumi is the sex symbol of the series, and she's human.

    People forget though, (or just didn't know), that Chobits is a shonen manga. That means it "caters" to a male audience. That's why we get the combination of "boy with pet girl" fantasy with other male-fan-service stuff like Yumi, with her ridiculously huge E-cup breasts, and putting Chii's "On" switch in the best place a perverted mind could think of. Yes, Chobits is meant for guys! So all this talk about Chii being cute, and comparing her to other cute stuff, is kinda like when people (including women) walk into a strip club and adopt the featured stripper as their best friend. (If you can catch the analogy.)

    Chi isn't that cute. Sure she is innocent and crap but she is just creepy and her annoying voice is all weird like.

    Of course Chii is adorable. When are CLAMP characters not adorable? Maybe it is just CLAMP's style or the way she is drawn that makes her a radishing cootie ;P But, it also comes in her personality. Her saying her name, and gradually learning the words just makes her cute. Don't just look at looks here, buddeh. (; Kiddinggg.

    Yeah, chii is pretty cute. I can relate to her. Lol. But sometimes her no-brainer-ness can be frustrating. she's cooler when her self-defence mode get's activated.

    Chi is adorable. She has this cuteness about her. I think it's how she says chii all the time. Or her facial expressions. It's like she's seeing everything for the first time. Well in a way she kind of is.

    At the very beginning when Chi was learning some stuff, it was a little bit cute, but I don't see Chi as comepletly cute, maybe Sumomo, but not Chi :p

    I tend to like little stuff and find them cute, not matter what it is ^^;
