    Ah, it's as dead as it usually is :p I wouldn't hold my breath for it to perk up, to be honest.

    Also: Woo, I remember about unit 04... fear me :)

    And the EoE Asuka fight was frickin' brilliant. Especially when put to 99 Red Balloons.

    Those are the real production model Evangelion. Rather, evas 05-13. Notice that they have 02's body. They use the dummy plus system, relinquishing the need for the "fated children", and use the synthetic S2 engine so they don't need power cables. They're predominantly white, and have a large mouth with no eyes. Kinda like a whale with lipstick.

    As a weapon, they seem to have retractable wings, and a dual-bladed sword that can metamorphose into the Lance of Longingus. Someone else could put their picture up, I'm too lazy.

    ok, good, i just wasted away 70 hours of my life waiting for EoE to download, and now i like it so much i'm obligated to buy it on DVD. currently the same thing is happening with death and rebirth.

    anyway, it seems the more i see episodes and such, the more my opinion that shin-chan is a whussy is reinforced. secondly, i understand now completly the religious links/symbols thread--thanks for mentioning the name so i could see it

    Ok now. Here's what I know about the Evangelions:

    Unit 00 - Blue/White color scheme, One Eye, and Contains the soul of Dr. Akagi, Naoko. Most say that Naoko's soul is in the MAGI Super Computers because she refers to it as her 'mother' several times in the series. I believe it's not because her soul is in it, but becuase they are like her, having her personality used to make 'em and all.

    Unit 01 - Purple/Green color scheme, Two Eyes, and Contains the soul of Dr. Ikari, Yui.

    Unit 02 - Red/Orange color scheme, Four Eyes, Contains the soul of Dr. Soryu, Kyoto Zeppelin. This is proven because Kaworu says he is able to control it because the soul is dormant within the unit and in the movie, when Kyoto talks to Asuka in the lake and Asuka says she understands the AT Field: it is her mother protecting her.

    Unit 03 - Black/White color scheme. Two Eyes, and taken over by the 13th Angel.

    Unit 04 - Silver/Black color scheme, Two Eyes, S^2 Engine, and unknown about if it contains a soul.

    Unit 05 - Unit 13 (Eva MP Series) - White/Black color scheme, No Eyes (as far as I can tell), Wings, S^2 Engine, and Controlled by Dummy Plugs based on the 17th Angel, Tabris (Kaworu).

    the mass evas

    konichiwa

    recently i watched end of evangelion and happened to noitacie that on the enery plugs of the nine (i think) eva's with the s 2 engeines it said "Kaoru" maybe Im wrong but could that indicate that those evas have "Kaoru's" soul in them. Or I notaiced as well that sele were controling those eva's maybe their soles were copied and places into the eva's. What do you think?. Maybe they used the several copys of rei as the dummy plug things because there were no pilots in those evas at all. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Kinda correct Rem... but you wavered off in phrasing it

    The Kauro things were dummy plugs of him... much like what they did with Rei & the first three Eva's... As for the actual Seele organisation using there souls to be in the Eva... No, then they wouldnt be there usual selfs & quite insane as you see what happens to Asuka's mother
