You know,Peterburg only gets shown twice in the entire SMJ series - once when Gartlant's tanks encroach upon the borders (ep. 3,I believe) and once when it gets sacked by Gartlant (ep. 9). That might make for some interesting exploration...

I assume that you're referring to piano_cello_conducting's fanfic entitled "Saber Marionette:NT," right?

Never read it, but yeah... It was more of a transcript from an online RPG tho, wasn't it?

Saber Marionette Ninja Turtles? LOL! That would make for a hilarious crossover fic. Dunno how it would work,though...

InuYasha - That time-travel thingy in the third TMNT movie reactivates, this time sending Splinter & the turtles to Terra 2,where hilarity ensues...

Uh. Ask me about the huge fan fic I'm writing about it as soon as I'm done with my thesis.

*mutters something unintelligible about finding all of her books of feminist criticism*

~ Aoi: who is actually working on said fic

While we explore this I wonder one thing:
Do they all speak one language?

How did Panther understand Japanese (Assuming she speaks German)?

How did billy learn Japanese if he is too poor and the government of Gartlant was to cheap to support schooling?

Saber Marionette R happens in a country called Romana, but I think that it's more related to Italy than Romania. If you see all the backgrounds, the people's outfits, etc. The Royal family and their court are all dressed somewhat like the renaissance people in Florence, Italy at the 15th century. Also, many "villas" appear in the city, the tramways are orange (that's alike in Italy, also for the current time) and also the three marionettes appear to be really Italian. (I have italian roots and the SMR Bloodberry is alike my sister :p). On the other hand, there's nothing wrong about it. Japanese oftenly tend to do a stereotype from another countries.
And yes, Xi'an is China and there's a little word game with J to X, it means 1)The marionettes go from Japones to Xi'an, but also that they turn from Japanese Saber Marionettes towards,..you know ;)

Romana is named after Rome, just so you know. Hmm. That seems to be all.
