Is there really competition to the best artist? Ayumi Hamasaki. The eyes are her best feature, other than that she's got the freaking highest voice and sings so pretty. After all I composed 5 songs and 10 poems about her, what can i say?

For bands I did have to go with:

    1. Move
    2. Do as Infinity

    Other Misc singer:

    1. Utada Hikaru
    2. Hitomi

and Ryu-ki, Boa is korean, not japanese.

^^ Blood eh? nothing wrong with you liking them or am i disagreeing that they are a good band, but don't you think they are a little freaky? For a second i thought they were satanists. (correct me if they already are)

And i just have another questions why do people keep thinking BOA is japanese? She is really Korean. Just a personal thought.

I think it's more of her J-Pop music, than it is that she's Korean.

Her K-Pop is usually MUCH better though. However, she's seeming to release more bi-linguality.

    As for me...
    PornoGraffitti
move (their stuff isn't *anything* like their Initial D stuff!)
    Malice Mizer
    Koda Kumi
    the pillows
    Sakamoto Maaya

and maybe a slew of others.

But, I can't really think of any, at the moment.
