Food Favorite Eating Utensil

What untensil do you eat with??

I eat almost everything with chopstick, I have mastered the art of cutting steak with them. Ill even go into a steak house, and when i get my stake, i pull out my trusty chopsticks.

There i dont think is a single eating place ill go without my chopsticks.

 

I've never really had much of a thing for eating with chopsticks. But I always use chopsticks when eating Japanese or Chinese food. I'm not very skilled with them though. I've sort of adopted my own style of using them - using a sort of scooping movement .

 

I eat chopsticks ( metal kind ) with both noodles/ramen andddd Chinese/Japanese/Korean food. My roommate is Korean, and her mom gives her loads of food from Korea everyday. And so, I always end up eating Korean food with her everyday -- WITH CHOPSTICKS. ;P

But hey. Chopsticks can be hard to master, she laughs at me when I use them. ;P But then again. I'm American. What can I say. Lived off silverware, and dern proud. ^^ :uffs cheeks up::

 

For a person of oriental descent, I feel a tad ashamed of myself for not using the chopsticks that often... at times I do find them slow and clumsy. Probably explains why I am not 'too' good with them. However I use chopsticks everytime I'm at a chinese/japanese restaurant. At home it's mainly the trusty spoon... masses in minutes is top priority for a busy man like me.

What's a fork?

I eat with chopsticks every day, except for cereal, of course.

 

The spork is clearly the best eating utensil in the world.

 

"Spork" does have the best ring to it. But you couldn't eat soup with it :sweat2:

a spoon works for me, but not with noodles because that gets messy. So sometimes I use chopsticks, and sometimes these nifty special chopsticks that are attached at the top in a kind of 'M' shape so they can be used without falling all over the place :anime: :shy:

 

i use silverware always... and if you guys havent used a spork before, well lets jjst say youre truely missing out my friends. *hugs Chowmein* heres to the inventor of the spork!!! *chants: spork spork spork spork*

they are sorta hard t'use........i love my chopsticks theyy have red shiny writing along the sides.........stells gave em t'me

 

I'm Asian, so I used chopsticks a lot. Really, I've been using them ever since I could eat solid food. ^^;;; It's sort of strange, since I'm the only one that used chopsticks a lot at home. My parents and my brother mostly used a spoon (sometime a fork) when they're eating. ^_^x

I like to use chopstix a lot but some foods just cannot be eaten with them (like yohgurt... mmmm....) then i end up with my friend mr. spoon

 

Well, I'm somewhere in between half-and-half and silverware for everything but oriental food. *shrugs* It's kinda complicated I guess, and depends mostly on my current mood.

I think I'm fairly proficient, especially for a dumb gaijin, but that's just my personal opinion. I've never actually asked anybody about it or anything, but I know enough not to embarass myself while using chopsticks. ^_^

I have ten eating utensils of choice, and they're also used to type. Yes, I love eating with my fingers. But, if its to slimy/gross textured i fall back to a spork, and if for some bizzare reason that fails, I quoteth The Tick: "SPOOOOOOOOOOON!"

 

Hmm....I'm mostly half and half...depends on what kind what country the food orginates from, so if japanese or chinese I usually use chopsticks to eat. So if american food, :anime: I use my fingers and tongue which is alot easier than using silverware.

Agreed.It makes all other eating utensils obsolete.
