Curry and RAMEN!!! I just looooove Curry and Ramen! EVA is the reason [IMG] !!!

I tried Sushi too! I love it to death, but it wasn't anime that introduced me to this food... Shen mue, and also my interenst in Japenese culture is what introduced me...

I also like chinese "Chow mein" (sorry I can't spell nor remember the proper name, cuz that's what I usually call it ^^; [IMG] )

probably the game Shen mue had an effect hehe ^^;...

-"Curry" reminds me of Red Dwarf (Not anime, but it's all Lister would eat [IMG])

-"Ramen" brings back memories of Ranma (The Cat Cafe, and numerous contest prizes...)

-"Sushi" reminds me of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and Splinter who only ate it)

Of those three, only had Sushi...not too bad, tho' as my friend showed me not bad with a touch of wasabi(sp?)...

As for Chinese, well I work at a Chinese Restaurant currently, so I eat buffet like once or twice a week...getting sick o' it...

    BakaMattSu, well 1 of 3 anime-related ain't bad, huh?

But I've always wanted to try Ramen... the closest I have gotten are Mr. Noodles.

Curry? Isn't that Indian cuisine? Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.
My favourite Chinese dish is Soo Guy, but only if it's from the Golden Crown Restaurant in Chatham ( [IMG] I really miss that place [IMG] ...).
Japanese food ... let's see ... I had an opportunity to try some sushi at the food court in a London mall, but the idea of fast-food and uncooked fish combined kind of turned me off of that idea. I can imagine some of that blowfish that has to be cut perfectly or it's poisonous, cut the wrong way by some high-school drop out ... Really, though, I'm not too familiar with Japanese entrées. I've been meaning to look for a recipe for a few of their desserts, though. I hear mochi is good.
I can't say that the Soo Guy is anime-related. My older sister just ordered it one day, and got me hooked. The desire for mochi, however, comes from Monster Rancher and Star Ocean: Second Story, the game in which I once made myself a strawberry mochi using a cooking skill.
For any London, Ontario-area residents on the boards, can you recommend me to a good sushi restaurant?

Sweet and Sour Pork, Lemon Chicken, Moo Goo beef, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken all from the Chinese restaurant in Cody Wyoming. LOL I know it sounds out of the way, but the employees/owners are all chinese, and the food is excellent.

Is the Japanese curry as good as the Indian kind? If it's even half as good, that translates to tasty food heaven in my tongue.

A coouple friends from the anime club and I got together and ate out at the best Japanese restaurant in town, the Shiki. We had so much sushi..yum. Well..the squid one was a bit weird, but I love the sushi with the put prawn on top. Anyways we also had these battered chicken or something, but the best part was when they brought out the battered prawn/huge shrimp and it was so good dipped in tempura sauce. There was also a beef stri fry with bean sprouts in sweet sauce and a teriyaki with the best tasting chicken in it.

Japanese snacks sure have funny names [IMG]

Lemon chicken rules, although I really like the wonton soup. Sesame Seed Balls are good too.

And back to Star Ocean, the second story. I love all the cooking you can do in that game... Although whenever I have Rena cook food for the team, they always seem to get poisoned by it. And later on in Fun City there is an iron chef cooking game where you can get your butt kicked by the super master chefs.

How do you say this. I am Chinese, have had chinese food since I was a little kid...so I prefer Chinese food.

Even though my mom can make class one japanese Sushis, and Italian Pasta, Swedish meals...

I guess I have to go with the Chinese food :)

I used to eat ramen noodles pretty much contantly. They cook so quickly and are so filling. But I stopped eating them once I realized that they had about 80% of the daily sodium content!

If I have to eat curry, I like Thai the best . Any combo of peanut sauce, coconut milk and hot spices on a stir fry is quite nice.
