So, if you're into scary movies, the majority of them are infact based on the paranormal. Vampires, Werewolves, mutant growths and such.

Then again, movies don't have to be horror to be about the paranormal. So, lemme ask you all, what's your favorite paranormal movie? :)

Queen of the Damned= Yaay^^ But I have to say Interview with the Vampire was the better of the two Anne Rice adaptions.

I didn't really like Interview with the Vampire that much. But I never got to see the end because I fell asleep that day because I stayed up all night last night. From what I heard from my parents, it wasn't very good. I've been wanting to try to watch it again if I can but we've never really had time. I really don't remember much of the movie anyway but I'm looking for it.

Well, here's how I look at it..
Queen of the Damned was given horrible reviews by critics. Interview was up for a few oscars. Queen featured Alliyah...*shudders* And Interview had tom Cruise. *shudders more*

My mom doesn't like Tom very much for some reason. I never understood why. I think that's one of the reasons that she said she didn't like the movie but I don't know. Now I really want to watch it again :p

Wasn't Alliyah the Queen in the movie? I'm not very good with movie star names. If you just name a person that is in the movie like Neo or something, I know what you're talking about :p. I already know about what happened to her after the movie so you can just say yes or no.

I like way too many of these kinds of movies but here's SOME of my favs

    The Gift
    Poltergeist 1 and 2

I love M. Night Shyamalan's films, but I'm not sure that they would necessarily be classified as horror. Truly good horror movies are relatively few and far between.

The Ring and its Japanese predecessors were outstanding, probably the best I've seen in recent years. Hollywood's Ring 2 was complete garbage. The Grudge was also pretty lame, Ju-On was quite a bit better.

As far as SF-themed horror, the first Alien movie wins hands down. John Carpenter's The Thing is also a personal favorite.

Speaking of Carpenter, the first two Halloween's were actually really good. And I also think the Hellraiser series is pretty decent. But personally, I'd have to say that the original Night of the Living Dead is probably still the single scariest movie I've ever seen.

There are too many to name... These days M. Night's the only one that can write something decent. Ms. Fantastic, did you see Lady in the Water? It's about a nymph and I know how you do like your fae...
