Really?? I dunno anything about this Kisara person at all lol cause, like, I haven't watched Yugioh continually for half a year. I don't watch it that much anymore cause I been busy and all. Since Kisara's ka is "that," I guess she(it's a she right?) and Seto should belong together! With Seto's obssession with that and cards and all.

Your resurrection of the thread was unexpected ^_^;; I was like, "Wow, the last post was made a year ago!" and I totally forgot about this thread lol

XD I loved this thread, I had to resuurect it.

Yes, Kisara is a girl. She's very pretty too. She shows up in the last season of YGO, and she adds so much more depth to Kaiba's character. They're just starting the air the last season now on American airwaves. She hasn't shown up on TV, but she has in Shounen Jump.

Sadly, she DOESN'T have a reincarnation, I think she's been permanently turned into her ka, hence Seto's utter obsession with the thing.

Wow! She and Kaiba belongs together! LoL I mean from the spoiler you gave and all, I think she and Kaiba are meant to be ^_^ there's finally stuff on Kaiba's love life. And here I was actually starting to question whether or not he is gay ;;

Well her and Priest Seto are a great pair. but Kisara's gone now, so she can't be with present day Kaiba.

Hence, why present day kaiba is in fact gay and is going to marry jounouchi. <.< >.>

My favorites

Marik Ishtar x Ryou Bakura - I think that this is cute. Ordinary yaoi relationship. They haven't talked much, but jeez who else would Marik go good with? And Bakura only fits me so he's only the other option ^^

Tea x Yami ~ although I HATE her with PASSION, they make a good couple. Besides, they hint the whole series that they have feelings for each other.

Seto Kaiba x Ishizu Ishtar ~ Great couple, Ishizu is a great duelist and could melt his cold heart with her kindness. They also hinted love between the two.

Joey Wheeler x Mai Valentine ~ she's too hot for him, but they make a good couple. They seriously love each other ^^

Peachy...when it came to Seto and Isis/Ishizu, I felt more of an "Get the bloody hell away from me" vibe from Kaiba and a "you're an idiot, quit being so close minded and LISTEN TO ME" vibe from Isis/Ishizu more than a 'love' vibe between them.

Btw, you're all very lucky for you get to see, dun dun DUNNNNN: FR's evidence between Joukai!!! =D

Most people when they hear I’m a Joukai/Kaijou fan ask me “How can you put together two guys that hate each other’s guts?”
This is how.
Most people revolve their relationship around the ‘dog dream’ Jounouchi had. Just to clarify, I DO NOT.
For starters let’s explore their relationship. Kaiba was defeated by Yuugi, who is Jounouchi’s best friend. Kaiba enjoys taunting Jounouchi, and Kaiba always constantly angers Jounouchi. So they hate each other, right? Mmmmmmmmm, I don’t think so. Usually when Kaiba sees a person he views to be beneath him, he completely ignores that person. He feels they are not worth his time. Yet, he taunts and mocks Jounouchi endlessly. This is what makes it strange, why does he even bother to taunt Jounouchi when he views the other to be ‘nothing’? These are 3 beliefs of mine for why: 1) Kaiba is starting to feel emotions like love, emotions that he does not like or want so he takes it all out on the cause of these feelings, 2) since he’s probably never been in love before, he’s probably showing his feelings in typical little kid style (you all now what I’m talking about, the classic pigtails in the ink scenario. Why don’t they just call this the Helga Complex, after Helga from Hey Arnold? XD I like this one the most btw, because I love to picture a mature, young adult like Kaiba showing his feelings in the most childish of ways XD) or 3) it turns him on. Really, REALLY, bad.
Now, you’re probably thinking, ‘Well, he taunts Yuugi too!’ but let us not forget: Kaiba does NOT view Yuugi as an insignificant nothing. Yuugi is the boy that beat him. That beat HIM. Kaiba despises Yuugi because of this. Yuugi is above him, and Kaiba feels he MUST surpass. This is different than with Jou, because Kaiba actually has a reason to mock Yuugi. Also, some would argue the team duel Kaiba and Yuugi had with those mask guys. But once again in that, Kaiba had reason. Those two were winning through their teamwork, and that was a problem for Kaiba. He had no intent on working with Yuugi, but he had to do something to break up those other two and give him the advantage. That was used purely as a battle strategy. He used that way with Yami Yuugi as well during the four-way duel, so Yuugi would no longer defend Jou in the duel. But think about it, would Kaiba really see Jou as that much of a threat to winning that he would taunt him all the time outside of the duel?
But there’s one scene that does this relationship for me. In the manga, it becomes somewhat apparent that Kaiba has made Jou his ‘pet project’. Or at least it does after this scene. In the manga, Shizuka was never the one to save Jou after that duel Malik made him and Yuugi do, when Jou was sinking in the water after rescuing Yuugi. No, it was KAIBA that saved Jou. Nothing dramatic like Shizuka, but Kaiba walked over to Jou’s key box, smirked and called Jou an idiot for not grabbing his own key, then picked it up and dropped it to Jounouchi, who saw it come down and quickly used it to free himself.
Here’s where things get WEIRD. Kaiba seemed utterly flattered (yes flattered. O_O) when he saw that Jounouchi, in the midst of getting in to save his best friend, actually took the time to TAKE OFF his duel disk so it wouldn’t get wet and malfunction. (Yes! He really did do that!) After Jou was seen to be safe and sound, Kaiba (this is where it gets creepy for me) started to say things in his head like “He has become a true duelist.”, etc.
That sounds at least like a pet project to me.
Last we have a scene from the anime, during the Doom season. When Kaiba and Yami were up against Dartz, Dartz summoned Yuugi, Jounouchi, Mai and Pegasus. Kaiba chose to attack Mai. Why the hell would he do that!? Why not strike down Yuugi, his own rival, or Pegasus, ya know that bastard that kidnapped his brother once upon a time? Why not even Jou? Why did he pick Mai? Unless he’s a sexist ******* (which all us fangirls CANNOT believe right?), perhaps it was because of Mai’s relationship with Jou. It certainly wouldn’t be unlike Kaiba to get jealous (Scorpios are KNOWN for their jealousy). Jou fought a lot for Mai, maybe Kaiba was just really, really pissed off at how she was towards him during Doom, trying to take his soul, and totally ungrateful for ya know, Jou saving her life. But Jou got in the way and protected Mai. Kaiba afterwards got pissed off and saying “I will not let him hold me back anymore!” (or something like that) attacked Jou (who was saved by Yuugi). Wouldn’t hold him back anymore? Since when has Jou has ever held Kaiba back? Unless, Kaiba means feelings he has towards the blond that held him back, which further support theory 1 for Kaiba’s teasing.
Now for the other side of the relation-equation: Jounouchi.
Generally Jounouchi always shows a modicum of concern for Kaiba. He tried to make friends at first but was always shot down. He gets more flustered than angry though, and if you ask me, I think at first he’s a lot of the time miffed, confused and frustrated by the way Kaiba treats him (frustrated doesn’t necessarily mean angry, frustrated means when you’ve been trying something for so long, you just get really fed up). He always seems to me to be proclaiming his hatred for Kaiba a little too often and a little too suspiciously (and there seems to be a couple times in the manga when Yuugi looks at Jounouchi afterwards like he’s thinking the exact same thing XD).
Kaiba is very important to Jounouchi’s growth as a duelist. When the Fake Ra in his duel with Rishid struck down Jounouchi, everyone important in Jounouchi’s life was in his dream. Including Kaiba. For Jounouchi, Kaiba strives him to become better (like Yuugi does the same for Kaiba). Through his taunting and meanness, Jou is able to grow. But also in the dream, after Kaiba called Jounouchi “Bonkotsu no Duelist”, Jounouchi is seen….blushing.
Both are similar in personality: both are stubborn, hate to give up, and very tough. They are also both caring big brothers, who would do anything for their loved ones. For me, this relationship is one, where one is influenced by the other, and the other is starting to realize (or already knows) their influence. I see Jounouchi as a regular teenager, just confused about his feelings, and I see Kaiba as a man who’s getting scared by emotions he was trained not to feel. I see the relationship to be a hard one, and I think after a number of obstacles in between they could become lovers. Perhaps after the end of the series, when there’s really nothing left, no real tournaments where they feel challenged, or no more Yami to make them strive to reach his level. I think they’d be the type of couple to fight but (almost) always make up. I think once they have a bond formed, it wouldn’t be easy to break.
I think Jounouchi was the one to get the Red Eyes Black Dragon for a reason…
