Cowboy Bebop Fay or Julia?

Who do you guys think spike would have chosen ***spoiler***(had Julia and Spike not died) ?

I think Faye, 'cos they seem to be really close by the end of the series***end spoiler*** and Julia just gets on my nerves. (Well Faye gets on my nerves too but not as much as Julia. So I voted Faye.

 

He should've chosen Faye, he wouldn't but should have........
I think mabey you should mark in that spoiler, some ppl havent seen the whole series yet!

 

It is Julia. If you think he'd pick Faye, I think you kind of missed the point somewhere along the line. Spike and Faye weren't more than friends at the end of the series, and Spike was always in love with Julia. As long as she was alive, I really don't think he'd go with anyone else.

 

Spike's heart is only set on one person and thats Julia. We cant change whats in his heart! No one can get over their first love ..

 

so agreeing with DL and toom here. spike loved julia. after she died he had nothing to live for (well other than getting vicious grr) and i liked the bratty little sister reference for faye. definitely julia there just isnt another choice!

 

While by the end Faye loved Spike, Spike just couldn't return the feelings. Julia was Spike's one true love, and she was all he had to live for. Once she died, that was it for him......you know the rest.

It's who SHOULD Spike have chosen, not who WOULD Spike have chosen.
Obviously he WOULD choose Julia, but if he had chosen Faye the series would have been full of even more intresting twists ^_~

Ara, actualy the question was who WOULD Spike have chosen.

Also I don't think Spike and Faye had a brotherly/sisterly relationship, I don't think that happens unless the pair have known each other since they were very young, and even then it can still become love(this is speaking from an anime perspective). They could have become a couple if it wasn't for Julia I think. But, like Kame said, we'll never know.

 

since all the right arguements have already been put forth, I'll just agree with everyone who said Faye. Faye. that's what i say. *n00ds head to music in head*

I believe Spike would still choose Julia if he had a choice. He has loved Julia from the time Spike and Vicious weren't enemies. He can't forget what he had lost when he faked his death. There is nko love like true love.

Although we would all like to see a Spike x Faye pairing, it would not be a easliy recognizable choice. Spike and Faye do get along on some level more like friends than brother and sister (in my opinion). They both respect one another, that's why Faye cries when Spike leaves. She misses the one of the crew she could most relate to, perhaps in the universe. He couldn't forget his past, and she couldn't remember hers.

I would have to admit, I'd like to see a Faye and Spike together, but that would spoil the enitre ending.

 

Erm..:sweat2: Actually, (sorry Leprachaun-san *bows*), but I did sort of mean who should Spike have chosen, but the answers from all you people would've been the same.
I guess Spike would have chosen Julia, but I still think Spike-Faye would be a better couple.
But I guess beggers can't be choosers.
