Cowboy Bebop Fay or Julia?

I know he would pic Julia (duh); but, I think he should have gone w/ Faye. But hey, when do guys like Spike ever really make the right decision?

 

Julia

I think Spike wouldn't have chosen Faye no matter how the series ended, with Julia dead or alive, because Spike knows Faye too well. To him she's just an all around pain in the ***, even if he does enjoy saving her every once in a while. I think the only reason they seemed to get close near the end is that Spike was trying to replace Julia with her but eventually decided he couldn't love his little sister like that (I don't mean she's literally his sister). Besides, we never got to know Julia enough, I mean we see her in what like 5 sequences without sound or explanation. Because we're so unfamiliar with her I don't think we could accurately say that she just wasn't right for him

I would choose faye even though she is like 80yrs old and stuff...err...but shes hot!:glazed:

missing the point? you missed the point....by the end faye is 100% in love with spike, theres no telling which one he would have chosen

 

Forgive us, KaR, we forgot you were the absolute Bebop guru, with knowledge as infallible as ****in god himself. Trouble with sarcasm is that it doesn't come through too clear in text.
Firstly, how do you know that Faye was 100% in love with Spike? I'm not saying she wasn't, I just think you shouldn't say she was. It's obvious she cared about him, but it wasn't the same as the love between Spike and Julia in my oppinion. Secondly, it doesn't matter a damn any way, the question was who would Spike choose. He choose Julia. He didn't choose Faye. He wasn't going to choose Faye. He was going to choose Julia. He choose Julia. You understand now?

First off before you post what you think go watch the last couple of eps..

Now in the Last 2 eps you will find out a few things.. ONE Spike And Julia Were Always in love and were going to run away with each other.. But Julia Gets Killed.

So Spike Goes back to the ship tells a Story that foreshadows the end of the Series.. (the old tom cat who died a thousand deaths)

Then it is shown that Faye wants spike to stay.. WHY.. Did she love him.. maybe.. Or Maybe She finally found her place in the world and spike was leaving..

But was spike leaving to DIE no. Was Spike leaving to go get revenge for Julia's death no.. He was going to see if he was truly alive and end things with vicious.. Just happened he dies in the end..

Did spike love Faye.. not really.. Did he choose no he did not..

I think there is more of a connection between Jet and Faye. It would have been nice to pursue that with her being so much older than him. *grins*

aww come on now every one knows faye should have ended up with spike she really cared about him and julia never did any thing for spike cept get him in trouble if i was faye i woulda killed julia the night she came back to spike i would killed her. ed would hack her to death. hehebut he should have ended up with faye julia's nothing but trouble.:shy3:

 

But just think how the story line would be diiferent if he loved Faye...

 

Yeah, it would have been different. It would have been predictable. I wish he loved Faye, too. But, well.. it was too obvious for the creators of CB, I think. I mean, cool new Japanese Anime: The lead guy falls in love w/ the lead girl, and vise versa; neither wants to admit it, they end up together in the end, blah blah blah. It's like just about a million other animes out there (even some of the really good ones, like Inuyasha, though they're still predictable, too).

 

I definately have to go with Julia on this one. Spike is just too laid back and careless to give a crap about a firecracker like Faye. She's more than Spike cares to handle. Spike seems like the guy who would want a low maintenence lady, who would not waste all of his Woolongs on gambling. For crying out loud, if he were with Faye, he'd never get any meat to eat. He'd have to run around and mop up her messes all day long. That's why Julia fits Spike so much better. She seems like she would understand his needs to sleep till noon, and lay around and complain about not having any woolong. Faye's too stubborn to handle anyone but herself.
