Square Enix FF8 ending

I know that most RPG's are about small time hero's saving the world....
however Fei from Xenogears was no hero to begin with not to spoil anything but those of you who have played xenogears will know what I mean!

 

Idave, since when have RPGs been about small time heroes saving the world? There are only a few that have this story back round. Most cling to the "Unlikely hero type"

-Ehrgeiz
-Final Fantasy: Tactics
-Driving Emotion (i think its DE: Type S, but I'm not sure)
I'm sure there's some I've left out too ...

As for FFIV, I don't know if you noticed this, but the Chronicles version of the game is a more direct version of the Japanese variant. It's sort of like that unofficial translation I'm sure most of us have played somewhere along the lines.

 

I like the new FF4 much better than the old FF4 (which i also have). It just seems now that the old FF4 left alot of stuff out, that sqaresoft was just trying to please an ignorant audiance.

Also, The gameboy FF's lik adventure and the Legend series were originally released in Japan as a part of the romancing SaGa series.

The fact that i have played all the Final Fantasy games in Europe, and they all rule! I can´t find any and I mean ANY bad things in any of the Final Fantasy games here in Europe. The ending movie was brilliant and beatiful. I almost cried when i watched it. Almost.
