I mentioned her before, but Nanase Aikawa. A lot of her music is pretty hard. I recommend No Future or Midnight Blue.

At The Gates are really good too, but they had a male singer.

See Arch Enemy....at least stuff off of the album "Anthems of Rebellion."

And another good, foreign, chick-fronted band:

    Lacuna Coil - Daylight Dancer; Heaven's A Lie(Italian)

If you wanna try Japanese rock that's more on the alternative/pop/rap/ballad side, there's Orange Range which is sort of the "in group" in Japan now. They're a bunch of guys from Okinawa, so a few of their songs have a lil bit of Okinawan flavor. They even have a reggae song on their album! (one of my favorites) Overall, their songs have some catchy guitar riffs.

a good "chick" band is Medeaval Babes. there's like 16 women in this group. get Isabella, and Aria w Delerium

Delerium has some music but other languages aswell
Cradle of Filth (not all girl heavy metal) I don't know what language they sing :sweat2:

Mm.....Cradle of Filth. I forgot to mention them, they hail from England(I think. Somewhere in Europe). I can't really think of any songs specifically, but, whatever.

Oh, and something I just thought about...Most of the stuff I've posted is Black and Death metal. Which, I may add, is definately not for alot of people. But if you dig Black metal, try...
Dimmu Borgir - You're gonna burn in hell
The song name is somehting to that effect. Also try "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse"

Just wondering, have you gotten any of these songs, and can us your opinions on them? I don't wanna keep suggesting stuff you won't like.

Zeromancer from Germany is a kick A$$ band ( If you get the chance to listen to their stuff listen to Dr.Online)!!!! So is Rammstein! (Engel is a really good song by them) And as I heard Hanamuke (From Japan) was really good too even though I haven't heard of their stuff yet.
